Definetely... they both have the firepower to utterly destroy teams by themselves... only thing with T-Mac in the past was people realized his teammates couldn't score so they triple teamed him.. whenever he dished out, rafer or whoever would chuck it... now with Scola, we have great chances

Very true, wonder when adelman will recongnize this. The issue needs to be adressed especially when you have a guy like yao who has dominate low post skills.

we made up for a LETHARGIC/SUBSTANDARD first quarter 26 pts with a 33 pt 2nd quarter.

we've raised our standard. last yr, 25 pt quarter was EXCELLENT. this yr, 25 pts quarters are the minimum.

I must agree that SKip needs to stop gointo the lane with his shot. We just need him to run the offense and all the fast breaks.

Ok I'm not even gonna comment T-Mac's game. Everybody knows that.

But damn, I love Scola. He brings so many good things here

Skip needs to keep passing and stop shooting! He's forcing shots tonight. We don't want that Skip.

i don't know anyone who can airball in the paint but rafer can.

again, i don't hate rafer but when he starts to shoot any type of shot, i cringe and prays that something good will come out of it like an offensive rebound.

that's why i think james fits ultimately. dude is not a liability w/ his shot.

McGrady is awesome, but this is definitely not one of his "only T-Mac can do this!" games. Arenas, Wade, Carmelo, Iverson, LBJ are just some of the names in the League that are known to score like this.

    :01.9 HOU - S. Battier made a 23-foot three-pointer from the right corner. Assist: T. McGrady

    59 vs 42.... 1 point short of my forecast of 60 by 1H !! :D

Oh come on, he will spend plenty of time in the low post.....and the Rockets are KILLING teams.....and this is without Bonzi and James...2 rotation players.

    Gonna be a fun year.

Sonics are playing Zone D, so it's hard to get him the ball down there without defenders swarming him.

This is why I didn't want Adelman to be hired.

I'm willing to write this off as preseason, but it had better not be a trend. I wasn't exactly impressed by Yao's performance earlier in the postseason either.

MJ wants to shoot the ball 80% of the time when he runs the offense...

he also couldn't go on bursts like this last yr. he was never in shape to take 4-5 shots in a row or take it to the hole 4-5 times in a row. plus the fact that JVG put the entire offense on him.

this yr, he's UNLEASHED. healthy, slim, quick, explosive, and one goal: score.

no kidding. i was amazed at how the results were. the first quarter we looked pretty uninspired but still put up 26 and played solid d. 2nd quarter things started clicking and we really started killing them even with yao having an off night. i am ready for the season to start.

T-Mac with 23 at the half.
T-Mac never had 50 in one game with the Rockets , maybe this year?
