I think its good if we can rest Tmac for the 4th so that he is fresh and can shoulder the load. Tmac is a little older, and injured, so it would serve him and the team well if he plays about 35 min. a game and put the dagger in like tonight.

"That was the most pleasing thing, to get the win and see him (McGrady) break through; that's huge for us." -Adelman on the game

That quote doesn't seem to have the 'pissed off' quality to it. Sure, he had some quote where he said something like: 'it's like we have to make everything hard.' but it came off more as a sigh more than anything else. I'm pretty sure everybody's happy they pulled out a win. Would they like to play better? Obviously, but I doubt any of them, including Adelman, is pissed off about the win.

Win is a Win .... lucky, but that is part of game too..

Tmac's shot decision wasnt good as usual, but I m sure we lost this game if Tmac was still injured.

Playin backtoback with same team and gettin two 'W' is pretty tough thing even that team is worst team in NBA.. I m glad we won both game.. :D

I think he should be mad at himself. When you put scola, landry, Tmac. head and Brooks on the court at the same time, you are bound to be abused.

At least one game team didn't lose lead, instead they gained it.

Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that Rafer is 17-50 over the last 3 games? Adelman needs to sit him down and drive home the fact that at the end of the day, Rafer is the initiator of our offense. That means he's NOT allowed to run a 1 on 5 fastbreak and clunk a pull-up jumper about 3 times a game.

Rafer needs to eat some humble pie. Right now, he thinks he's the Tmac of Rucker Park and that he'll somehow get out of his shooting slump by being a volume shooter. Except the shooting slump has lasted Rafer's entire career.

We can't beat any good teams if Rafer is averaging 17 FGA a game.

You are not the only one. Your right, he doesn't know his limitations and thinks he is better than he is. He's mental lapses on offense hurts us and has them too frequently during critical junctures of a game for my liking. There were a couple of possessions that reminded me of Mike James last night and not in a good way.

I think if you take away the couple bad shots he took this game(I specifically remember one floater when he was trying to draw the contact) the rest are actually shots you dont mind him taking. I remember in the first half where Rafer rubbed off Yao and was wide open for a 17 foot jumper, and he nailed it. Its a play you see point guards do all the time. Thing is, if he misses, Worrell says its a bad shot. Can't have it both ways Bill.

Rafer has suddenly forgot how to finish in the lane. Its all T-Mac's fault. :p

Did anyone else think it was weird how basically the whole team just kind of stood there on the court after Durant missed the shot and the buzzer sounded?

T-Mac, Chuck Hayes, Rafer, just kind of standing there while Novak comes off the bench and looks for somebody to high five but they are all just standing there like statues.

I thought that was pretty hilarious.

I noticed that. I thought the refs called a foul or something.

Because we know Yao would NEVER miss two free throws at the end of a game.

Bad team performance. Poorly balanced offense, poor defense.

And poor free throws. The rockets were 2 of 11 at the FT line if you don't count Yao's 14/15.

Obviously, Rafer's two weeks of glory are way over. He has always taken too many shots, almost always more than Yao. I would rather someone who hits 50% of their shots taking them instead of someone who hits 30%.

The Rockets won, yea! BUT, for most of the game they made the Sonics looks like the Showtime Lakers. Lucky is good, good is better. Yes, there is still time, but some serious tests coming up. We'll see.
