Who is the king of floppers in this game? There are many..

Battier, Scola, Chucky, and then there's Thomas, Collison...etc. Who gets the crown? I vote for Scola since flopping is learned at an early age in Argentina...

but the momentum changed when landry entered the game. tmac had missed 3 straight shots prior. we had no intensity and the sonics just brought the lead back to 13. landry made some hustle plays and that difficult layup gave us some confidence. small plays like that are crucial.

Yeah, but Battier usually gets the benefit of doubt with the referees.

For as much as Yao gets hacked and can get more easily winded than the smaller guys, his FT % really amazes me.

It was T-Mac playmaking or finishing for the Rockets down the stretch plus he's the top scorer. That alone would have made him player of the game but it doesn't really matter. He's had like a zillion player of the game recognitions in his career. The Rockets won and that's what's important.

Adelman better recognize that anytime Luther Head is playing that we give up a lot of points. PHilly, NO, tonight. And that's just recently. STOP playing HIM! If it weren't for vintage Tmac tonight Adelman's crappy rotations would have lost us the game.

I do not agree that T-mac is nervous when he is at the line, instead I think he is too relax at the moment...

I'm just scared that those ft's in crunch time will carry on for the rest of the season for him.

    Summary of the game:

With Yao on the bench in 2 and 3 qtrs, and Luther Head guarding Wally, Sonics made their run and both times into double digits lead.

Rafer missing layups and Scola missing shots he normally made. Rafer redeemed himself by making the 3 pts shot in 4 qtr, but Rockets should not be in this position against Sonics if he made his layups. (be a villian in the first 3 qtrs and come out as a hero in the fourth by making a 3 clutch ptrs).

McGrady proof again that 4 qtr is his TIME...... but forget about making FTs in the fourth.

Even if Rockets is playing Sonics (well below .500), I believe it will help RA to adjust his rotation as we progress.

A win is a win. Kudo to McGrady and Yao especially when Rockets down by 12 pts.

A certainly sensational win, from which we conclude that defense wins game.

However, Tracy will not always play as great as the late game and Rafer will probably not hit that three pointer next time. So we still need to figure out how to win early. We have to find a way to defend the pick and roll, especially P&R between a shooter PG and a Center/PF who can also shoot the mid-range jumpers. One of the reasons that we lost to Utah last year was because we couldn't defend the P&R between Boozer and Williams.

To me, we made the final run by playing last year's basketball: great defense and the two man offense. It's sad that Adelman's motion offense seems to only lead to lack of defense.

Still a long way to go...

Wow... just wow! Can't you just be happy about the win and put your T-Mac hate aside for a while?

It's hard to play Brooks more when he gets 3 fouls in 6 minutes.

I still remember the time all the garbage threw on Yao after the winning game with Spurs...

why fans tend to treat their stars so differently? It is really weird?
