Agreed. I think he's hit the rookie wall and it shows on his mid-range jumper. The good thing is that Scola's got plenty of heart and he hasn't slacked on the hustle plays. His shot isn't falling right now but I'd rather he keep shooting. He isn't O-fer, afterall.

It means Yao will invite TMac over to his house to watch the first round on his big screen TV. That's what it means.

are u watchin the game or reading the box score? tmac and yao only took 9 and 8 shots respectively. a lot of other people got shots and they shot well.

IT'S THE DEFENSE. and tmac only ran the pick and roll 2 FREAKING TIMES to end the 2nd quarter.

    don't post if u don't watch.

That, my friend, would take athleticism. We don't like that on the Rockets team.

Every one off the bench has a bad +/- so far.

how is that immature? the ENTIRE team is playing extremely porous defense. defense simply comes down to focus, dedication, and effort. everybody apparently wants to play offense.

You need shooters in this league,We have no shooters and we have a point guard who does nothing when T-mac play other than spot up for a three or dribble the ball up the floor and quickly pas it to tracy.

When tracy is on the floor there is no ball movement,we are one and done. Tracy and Yao have been design to play 2 on 5 kick out basketball.Yao get doubled kick it out.Tracy draw the defense kick it out

We should all calm down because Im pretty sure we will come out burning in the 2nd half. The first half was just warm ups.

When Hayes is out there, the Rockets win. When he is on the bench, they lose. It's not a coincidence. Hayes. Plays. Defense. You know what that is, right? Look at the numbers. The Rockets play better when Hayes is on the court.

that has happened only ONCE in the entire first half. i've read a lot of your posts, and it's the same thing dissing tmac as a ball-stopper.

Don't you know Sonics' front court starters have only scored 2 pts combined? Yao's primary job is to shut down the paint, which he has done. You're expecting him to shut down the mid-range jumpers as well? His name is not superman as far as I know.

What's sick is that theres video all over Youtube of Scola dunking like a madman. It's like he got to the Rockets and decided to plod because he wanted to fit in.

not if they involve him in pick and rolls. then u have to decide, contest the shot or stay back. i don't blame yao, it's adelman who has told yao to stay back. yao is just doing his job. but he has to tell adelman they're hot and he has to contest those shots.

Don't know what game you were watching. At one hand you were complaining how Yao not step out and guard someone who normally never can hit those shots. On the other hand, you think it is fine for Yao to be a decoy.

Yao was going foul out all their bigs by the half if they keep feeding him!!!!

Now tell me who was not watching?
