60% sonics, 46.5% rockets. That's not going to cut it.

The Rockets are not getting *anything* from the power forward position. Scola's been shooting like crap for a week. The +/- numbers don't lie. Hayes gives the Rockets a better chance to win. He will help on the pick and rolls and get boards.

Another great defensive quarter by the Rockets. Held these championship contenders to only 34 points in the quarter.

cause he was horrible when he played?

    landry and scola are better.

Scola's looked gassed. I wonder if having played throughout the summer for the national team is finally catching up with him.

The sonics are hitting every shot, and they are only up by 9, no big deal, they won't be shooting that percentage in the second half. If they shoot like that again in the second half, then there is nothing that you can do about it.

it's easy to shoot if you're WIDE OPEN.

remember, they dont' have rafer and chuck hayes like we do. they actually have legit shooters.

Giving up 60% shooting is the problem.

no- hayes plays with better players. scola has been playing more time with the scrubs. do a +/- when playing with the other starters.

If that's the only thing you have in your brain, then stop posting.

You should be banned in my opinion.

If it was me, I would have tried to pile up fouls on those Sonics centers. Two of them had two fouls in one quarter. Now they've got two fouls in the half. Who cares? Advantage pissed away.

Yao is not going to go out to the perimeter. Adelman's obviously fine with that. T-Mac's limping. That's not going to change this game. A lot of the Sonics offense is starting with defense and missed shots, leading to easy points in transition.

I'm not feeling too optimistic right now. And if the Rockets blow this game, like they blew the game to Philly, what does that mean for the post-season?

Guys, get our JVG defense back and win this game, we just don't have the luxury to lose this game. Go, Rockets!

Yeah but they are playing JVG ball 2 on 5.The rockets don't have modern day basketball players. You have to have shooters in this league,we have a bunch of 90's new york knick players which don't fit with how the game is played today. Look at toronto, they beat boston with 5 shooters on the floor running pick and roll, pick and roll, phoneix, dallas, golden state. We have prehistoric players that fit with charles oakley, denniss rodman era

Rick adelman is handcapped with this team, with teh kings he would just pick and roll teams to death. You can't do anything offensively with this team, the only guy's that can give you anything is tracy and yao and tracy can only play with 1 other player.

Seriously, I wonder what happened to Snyder, is he even on the bench? He takes it to the hole...he must be in the doghouse
