We gave up 59 pts to the team that had lost 11 consecutive games? Great.

If we come out strong as an ox in the 2nd half we have a game.
    nine points is nothing.

yao was balling. but there was no movement. and we were trailing the whole time yao went off. nobody was involved. everybody got involved now.

we just need to play some defense, esp. tmac and yao. our 2 best players are giving up open shots like free candy. tmac is not fighting over picks. anybody yao guards that aren't in the paint = open shots. they're the 2 worst defenders right now and it's showing.

Ughh, our defense is predictable. They are taking advantage of Yao's inability to guard the perimeter like Utah in last year's playoffs.

Against the worst team in the league, let them score 60 pts by the half.

Low energy, no movement. Sonics are playing good basketball OTOH.

We played OK for the most part. The Sonics are just insanely hot. 60% shooting!

I have no doubt that they will cool off in the second half.

Our offense is mediocore, but that's OK against a crappy defensive team like the Sonics.

However, our defense is crappier than the Sonics right now

That's the point. You WANT Petro and Collison attempting 19-footers.

Ok. I think the Rockets will win this game, despite being down 9 at the half.

But if we play with the same effort in the next 3 games, our season is OVER.

I hate that Yao always has to set that high screen for T-Mac which takes Yao out of the the low post.

They won't cool off if nobody puts a hand in their face.

nope it's just yao giving up another open shot, just like every rocket who has stepped on the floor.

    no defensive intensity.
