Speed is'nt an issue. we are doing an wonderfull job of playing the game at out tempo. halfcourt sets, with pounding it into yao who draws the double team hence the open look for our guards. alson in particular is doing a nice job knocking down the open looks. thats the game plan which will take us very far.
Well isn't that almost directly related. If they turn it over, then it's not like we're going to be getting those rebounds.
You would think that Rybo hasn't done squat looking at the stats but his D was important in getting this lead. T-Mac will punish the Sixers the second half.
That's the main thing they have Flyin' Ryan for, is his D. Who knew the Spastic White Boy School of D would be so effective?
I listened to the first half on the radio coming home from work. Was the first half as stinky as it sounded? Good thing we're playing a 76ers team who can't do anything right. Or is our defense really that good today? If it is, my bad. Besides Rafer from downtown, our offense sounds putrid listening to Gene & Jim. Also looks like Rybo has found his place. 5-6 mpg giving Tracy a break against sorry teams.
http://nusports.cn/nba/ try this but it is chinese and need to regi I watch it right now, not that good , but better than nothing.
Rockets are just too good with Yao and Mcgrady. If the left don't get ya, the right will. and Mike James who? Rafer runs this team from the point exceptionally well. People are now starting to see why we made this trade, he's just a better fit with Yao and Tracy.
Two straight effective offensive moves by Yao, that pump fake and bank shot off the glass and that baby hook shot. Yao is also staying out of foul trouble since he's been back, don't think thats an accident or because its too small a sample size.
A fourteen point lead. Now, for goodness sake, Rockets, please don't fritter it away like you've done so many times...!
Yesterday's game pretty much cemented the fact that Yao and T-mac need to each other to win....they're just that much better playing together. If both play well its an automatic win, when one is struggling the other try to keep it close until their shots come back later in the game. Likes yesterday, Yao was hot while T-Mac was cold in the 1st half and the role was reverse in the 2nd.
I would be totally sold if he could hit his shots like this every night. I still miss James but I can see what people mean by RA is a better fit.
Gotta give Iverson credit for some tough D, there... first the strip off Luther, then a second strip right after off David Wesley.
