I think AI will try to put Yao in foul trouble, since no one can really stop him.

 

exactly what i'm thinking. JHo or whoever plays pf should take some fouls instead of just stand there and watch yao fouling out.
i believe JVG should be smart enough to stress on that by now.

 

no cat to hold AI in check so i'm thinking he is gonna drop 40+ on us. wesley for damn sure can't keep up with AI.

p.s. - wesley has not shown me anything that makes me like him as a player. i'm still pissed at the JJ trade but i've been waiting for wesley to step it up so i wouldn't have to hate him. but i still haven't seen a thing.

 

I think it's a good idea to put Andre Barret on Iverson, he's probably the only one quick enough to at least bother Iverson a little bit. I don't think Wesley is quick enough to hang with AI.

Key to the game, look for Yao early and often. Shut down the paint. Choke AI.

Sixers 89 (yes, the Rockets will score 100 tonight) and will be back on track to their up-tempo style with both Tracy and Yao involved tonight.
Rockets are due for a 100 point night they've been hovering around it recently and have only hit it 2 times in 10 games i believe so i think they are due on my books.

 

I like the Barrett idea; besides, he can't shoot any worse than Wesley. Great guard play has been giving the Rockets fits, examples, Bibby and Wade. AI will be a challenge; if he runs free and strokes threes, it is going to be a long night. I have negative vibs about this game; I hope I am wrong because it is another "must" win. Playing the Heat in Miami is sort of a "write-off," but you have got to have games like this one. I will tell you this, I saw this team beat Dallas in D without AI. They are no pushover.

 

I am surprised nobody mentioned korver who is the key for 76ers recently.

 

But Strickland will play AI for 20 minutes. How scary is that?

Wish I could go to the game. I am in Philly for a Business trip and have to go out to dinner with the team. I am only about 15 minutes from the arena.

 

That white guy on their team can shoot the lights out... I hope he doesnt play a big role tonight against us..

 

Good idea! I almost forget him because he barely gets any minutes laterly. Wish he could step up to to earn 10-15 minutes from our OLD ROD
