    200th post I think...

Why did Yao only shoot 6 times? Dominant players command more shots than that... please JVG, find a way to get him 15 shots per game.

Umm, we scored A HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN POINTS.

Who cares how many shots Yao gets?

Totally agree. Who cares how many shots Yao gets if we are blowing opponents out by 20+ pts. Besides he only played 27 mins which is about 5 below his average. Good move by JVG taking him out early so that he can be rested for the Wolves game.

That should read A HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN POINTS.

But, apparently an alarming portion of our board cares. I would have thought we lost by 23 if I didn't know better.

It's only a good win if Yao has a big game.

Does Sura look like he's more friendly with anyone else? I don't see him jumping on t-macs back or joking around with ANYONE on the team. He gave Yao a high five and I saw communication.. Sura is just all out hustle with a warrior attitude. He's there to do the job, not make friends. This may not be true but that could be the case and i'd respect him the same if that's how he goes about his business. I don't think Sura dislikes Yao or dislikes anybody, he just doesn't friendship or partnership like most people.

While watching the replay of the game, these Sura-ignoring-Yao accusation is totally ridiculous. I see Yao and Sura clapping hands more than sura does with anyone else!

Interesting stat Bill & Van had was that the Sixers hadn't beat the Rockets since 2002.

    Just thought that was interesting.

    Go Rockets!

wow who'd have thought we just dominated a pretty good philadelphia team, well no one if they just read this thread. this sura conspiracy is getting way out of hand. the guy is 20 times better then we could have anticipated and plays his ass off every night.

anyways, explain to me the play where sura drives and trys to throw in into yao for a dunk but it gets broken up. he immediately goes to yao and gives him a five and both are smiling. watch it YOF's, it happened. from what i've seen and what i know about yao i find it completely impossible for one of his teammates to dislike him and i certainly don't think sura does. what i do notice is that he doesn't look comfortable throwing a pass to him when someone is fronting yao but he will swing the ball over one man so that the pass is easier.

I think the Rockets need to do another commercial like the one they had with Steve and Yao. Have both Yao and Sura in some couple's house washing dishes. Sura passes a plate to Yao to dry and says, "See I pass to Yao, we're teammates."

Or they can put them on the "Kiss Cam" before a game and if they don't kiss we can post about how Sura doesn't find Yao attractive. Then he will be exposed for the hater that he is because we all know how sexy Yao is and I don't think any man can turn a kiss down from him.

    Look at that sexy thing

that was my point - SUra is an intense guy on the court - he doesn't play grab-a$$ slap-5 with anyone

that is Barry, Padge and Tmac that do all the man-lovin'

I'm so out of it, I didn't even know they played until I got the final score on my phone...I wish Dallas carried at least some of the Rox games...:(

Sura might have a problem with low post play than with Yao. He has a rep of playing out of control at times when he came to the Rockets. Some of Sura's fans got their heart as well as mind stolen by Sura's heart. Good deal for Sura 'cuz it's like one stone two birds. Sura can do no wrong.

The YOFs have a legit point on Yao's shot total. Non involvement of Yao is a recuring pattern, and it shows that Yao's under utilized. This team falls apart against really good teams or athletic teams. Yao needs to step up, the system needs to turn up another gear, and being just a cheerleader missing the big picture won't help the matter.

I know this is off the subject, but wasn't there an article at the beginning of the season saying that the rockets were collecting "trophies" for each of their road wins? I thought it was something like one of the folding chairs from the opposing arena. Are they still doing that? If so, I think their charter jet might get pretty full after this trip! Adding a target center "souvenir" on Friday sure would be nice though...
