I hope Yao is not defending him. Let Bonzi do it. I am not sure Hayes/Scola can.

Obviously we are all worried about the team and want to see things turn around, but let's be realistic. If we don't want Rafer ( remember he has a long contract and is getting older too) plus the expiring contract of Bonzi and a rookie who is in the NBDL for Andre Miller,do you think the Sixers are going to say yes?

I for one was glad we picked up SF.
I for one was upset that he couldn't get into the games initially.
I for one thought he should be starting over Rafer.

    Boy, was I ever wrong.

Steve might have it, but not yet.

Yesterday's game just proved it to me.

I'm grew tired of seeing him bring the ball up the court and just crossing the half court line with 18 seconds left. I'm grew tired of seeing him walk/skip up the court. I'm tired of seeing him back in over the half court line.

One thing Rafer does that NOBODY on this team can do (or have shown) is bringing the ball up the court FAST, with SPEED.

Christ, you can count the seconds lost when SF brings the ball up. You can see the defense getting set, just waiting for us.

No, yesterday's game wasn't all on SF, but dang, between Tracy's over shooting and steve's walk, we were definately not suppose to win yesterday.

And I promise you, is Steve starts and we can't start our offense until the 18 second mark, and Tracy continues his shooting from yesterday, today won't be any better than yesterday.

I love my Rockets, but yesterday was just TOOOOOO much. My heart hurts.

They've put Miller on the trading block already. They've made it known that they want to get younger and want salary cap flexibility. Rafer's contract is much easier to swallow than Miller's for a rebuilding team, and he still offers a veteran presence.

Don't know what it will take for the team to get a good winning streak going but I it should start tonight(hoping for a 5 game win streak).

First offense without defense. Then defense without offense. Now no defense and offense. Playoff?? PLAYOFF??!!!!

Anyone know if Rafer is going to play? Yao Ming only took ten shots last game. I think that's a problem when your star center is only getting off 10 shots a game. Francis can't throw an entry pass for *****.

I don't agree with you about the first part. T-Mac has rarely played selfishly over the last few years. I still don't know what happened exactly yesterday but I agree that he played selfishly in this case.

The signs seemed to point to him wanting to keep Steve out of the spotlight but after reading some articles this morning, maybe T-Mac was just frustrated with the other guys on the court not moving enough and decided to make a point by jacking up shots.

There was a play in one of the previous games where T-Mac got visibly frustrated when he was holding the ball and called a timeout.

Sounds great but the 76ers won't do it.

I hope they can review back their play last year and see how they beat 76ers
    50pts and learn from it.

Exactly how I felt about yesterday's game. Between Stevie's hesitance to shoot open J's and his backing up to the half-court line, I was actually wishing Rafer would be back soon.

I know this is just one game but c'mon, Franchise, you used to be da man.

Heading to the game in a bit ... hopefully it'll be like last year when I went and we won by 50!

(But I'm not holding my breath...)
