Has anyone else noticed that the majority of Francis' turnovers dont even come from bad passes to teammates? He easily gets trapped, dribbles the ball off his foot, or just tries to get away with blatant travels. These are just completely careless turnovers. It was sad that we couldn't even get the ball across half court in the last 3 minutes or so. We completely stopped trying to run an offense. Once, Steve received a pass and was open with about 5 secons left on the shot clock. Instead of just taking the quality shot, he waited to drain those last seconds off then threw up a prayer. I'm getting tired of his carelessness. And Yao needs to hit some shots.

    I am a chinese,maybe sometimes I didn't express myself clearly.
I mean that after about 3-4 years,I hope Yao can become a great center such as Robin or Shaq.

And Yao needs to hit some shots. [/B][/QUOTE]

I agree with you, Yao gets more and more shot attempts, but he need to hit some shots and get more scores.
I think as a good center he must get a 50%

The Rockets looked sluggish tonight, and they should be. Looks like our defense will carry us through the season. Our offense has been pretty bad lately, but things should come back into place when MoT and Pike come back.

MoT/Pike can combine for solid 18-20ppg off the bench, right now our top reserves are Braggs/Nachbar/Norris, which isn't a reliable bunch. Both MoT and Pike can score with ease, making our bench a whole lot better.

every1 should be happy that we won, not complaining. we can fix al of those mistakes, or try to by next game, the past is the past. we won so its all good.

An anemic win is better than nothing. I'm surprised that Philly only got 66 points even though they are hurting bad.
I hope the Rockets will try to learn from their mistakes in this game otherwise they will get in big trouble again.

Rockets really suck in assist. Last year they ranked last in assist per game. Come on, learn something from the Jazz, Lakers.

Shooting was ugly tonight, Francis played much more unselfishly, thank goodness. Yao had some plays where he really looked aggressive.

Outside of the shooting, there were positive steps. Hopefully the Rockets can keep going in this direction and make that Toronto game a distant memory.

this game is like getting an answer on the last name in your blackbook. Its ugly, but at least you still score. And what matters is that you score.

Our offense was off but at least our defense held up, that is much harder to maintain on a b2b than to maintain the offense. A road win? ill take it anyday.

i thought yao was more aggressive posting up today (and i think he has been the past three games). hes getting position, but when he gets the ball, he waits for the double team so he can pass out. i wish he would put up some more shots instead of always waiting for the double team

The league should check the basketball rim to see if they are the right size! It look like it is smaller than usual?

The ugliest game in the season, but it's a victory anyway.
