    This.

McHale hardly even touched the bench playing 40+ minutes against one of the fastest pace teams in the NBA.

And Anderson wasn't just torching Lin, he was torching everyone. Inside, outside, circus shots. This was on top of him having a substantial length and height advantage.

Let's also not forget that Lin was one of our only players hitting shots. He couldn't go too crazy bodying up on defense as he couldn't afford foul trouble.

All it would have taken is a few more people hitting FT's, 3's, etc and all would have been fine. Instead, Lin did his best to put nearly the entire offense on his back.

Yes, Lin had too many TO's, but that wasn't what lost the game by any stretch.

Eh...Miami loss to this same team. This Sixers team is pretty good. Houston had a chance to put the game away, but didn't.....I think Parsons missing those FTs were a big factor....didn't have to be but they were.

No this year has been a liability on defense. The entire perimeter rotation has been terrible.

imo, we need to solidify the coaching before we even trade.

if mchale can't manage a team as deep as this with asik, he won't manage a team as deep with whoever we will get in for asik.

This team lacks chemistry. You don't see anyone talking in timeouts. Hopefully we'll gel as time goes on.
Tough loss but theres always tomorrow.

If you believe this, you don't know what you're talking about. Lin should've shot about 20 3pters today. He passed up so many obvious 3's only to create worse opportunities, three of which were just turnovers that he tallied to his total.

Problem is the coach. Talent is there

McHale does not understand simple coaching. Foul when you are 3 up and have fouls to give. Make defense/offense in game substitutions.

Guys... stop feeding trolls, this is all at McHale one of the worst coaches in the NBA. I'm just wondering... How long will it take Morey to fire him and hire someone else because his coaching decisions have been HORRIBLE for the past hmm... entire season!

Why is everyone so angry about who gets the blame. It is true Lin turned the ball over heaps, it is also true without his shooting we would have had no chance tonight.

It is also true the coaching staff let us down...maybe people can appreciate why Harden goes with the iso to end games. Do we go with a Mchale play or take our chances with Harden and his step back. After tonight it is the latter.

This entire team has a turnover problem. If it isn't Lin, it is Parsons, if it isn't Parsons it is Harden, if not Harden then Dwight.

Brain fades on the defensive end, brain fades on offense and the coaches are not good enough to cover for those issues. Mchale is here to stay, Dwight came here to play for him so we must give him a chance. However, for now we need a defensive specialist as an assistant, someone who can educate the players on making the right decisions.

I say give Mchale 2 seasons including this one, if it still is failing make a big push for Jeff van Gundy as a replacement.

Stop making excuses for Lin. He needs to fix his To's. It's been a glaring problem for 2 years now.
