nba is a players' league as some CFs said, this is the case esp to those super stars who has all kinds special privileges on/off court: Kawhi refused returning from rehab status(SAS) AD refused playing before joining LBJ(NOL) Harden refused to keep fit before trade(HOU-BKL) KI refused to follow the covid protocols(BKL) Simons refused to report(PHL) All a/m n w/m made pretty bad examples right in the face of other players while the league foolishly sticking to their 'big market first' rule, turning a blind eye to those crossing the red line without any countermeasures on the heels. The result is, certain players easily kidnapping the league, then both the league n the voice of franchise owners getting weaker n weaker(thanks to Adam Silver), rules became easily broken by everybody. Nobody looks happy.
You named a bunch of superstars and top 20 players in the league there. Those guys can get away with anything. We are taking about Wood and KPJ. Bunch of nobodies. Rockets management should have no issue suspending them.
I'll be happy with 30 from green and a loss. His/sengun's development is literally the only thing that matters. Everyone else is expendable. Even the good ones (Tate, KJ, Mathews, Christopher, etc).
Anyone else starting to worry that there's a game in less than 11 hours and there's still zero word on what punishment is coming down the pipeline? If KPJ and Wood both play today, I will have lost a ton of respect for the coaching staff and front office. The clock is ticking...

Agree to a certain extent. We do need to build around Green and Sengun, but in order to build around them we need some of these guys to develop. Tate, KMJ, Christopher, etc are nice complimentary players and it would be nice to build up together.
I think we're going to be disappointed with the punishments. My guess is none for Wood and that he'll start as part of a 2-big lineup with Theis due to Embiid, and that KPJ will come off the bench as his punishment. I'm sure the FO has spoken to Wood and told him they need him to perform for just three more weeks to showcase his skills and up his trade value. The sixers are a possible trade partner here, so him putting up decent numbers tonight and playing will be important.
