Rockets really believe in this core. I guess Stone and Co think the offense is coming along enough that once they get the defense back in line this is a competitive team.

Stoney saw the "Rockets would be dumb to let Houston sports media/Blogs influence them into trading Jalen Green" thread and it scared him off

Interesting, saw a report today by the Athletic that Ime and Stone aren't on the same page.

Ime wants to win now and Stone is fine with standing pat. Bad recipe when head coach and the front office don't see eye to eye.

I prefer a coach who wants to win, and coaches players to play smart, rather than accept stupidity for the goal of tanking. Good for Ime, in not wanting to be a loser.

Theoretically the Rockets "should" win this game with some extra motivation for FVV's return to Toronto, despite not playing

But this is a road game so that doesn't help at all

No… you misidentified this one @WestendMassive

these are the rings of LerBon, where has beens and hanger ons go to prop up the career of someone who never could carry a team on his own. This remains in dispute in some history books but according to research by AD hitching his wagon to this star resulted in a terminal black hole for his galaxy.

The bending of light in outer space can play tricks on the retina and how we perceive what is in front of us all the time. The affects are particularly acute around trade deadlines, and may cause those observing to value players more or less than their actual worth.

except for Sengunatics, those guys are always clear-sighted . . . they could be fighter pilots. And in a sense, perhaps they are.

Yep and they (deep down) can’t wait to get on the road again

    Yeah, on the road AGAIN
Rookies goin’ places that they’ve never been
Seein’ things that they may never see again
—(like someone stompin’ on a homeless man)
And that’s why they can’t wait to get on the road again

The only reason I don't believe it is because Stone wanted to get Mikal Bridges and it was reported that Ime really want Mikal. Sounds like they are on the same page to me
