T-mac not only took bad shots but even missed easy passes to Yao that would have led to easy scores. Either he was way off target on the game or he did not want to win.

T-mac was quoted as saying they missed a floor general in Rafer, who could control tempo. I think this was a shot at Steve. Maybe, he did not want to win this game so that Steve does not win the starting job. T-mac could also help out Steve bring the ball up but didn't. Kobe, Wade, or Artest would have done that for their PG's when pressured.

T-mac doesn't want to win a championship or get out the first round if he said that. Rafer wouldn't have done any better and probably would have been worst. The rockets were up 14 points at one time with steve as the point guard. They were up 11 points at the half.Tracy is DELUSIONAL if he said that and you kind of question his menatlity. He obviously was PLAYA HATIN steve during the game by refusing to swing the ball around to him and throwing the ball to his INVISIBLE teammates.

Tracy is competing with in his own TEAM this is quite a shame.

Tmac quick shots was definitely a spark that started the rockets downfall tonite. He should blame himself tonite and not say he missed Rafer. "it's on me" remember? I love Tmac, but he needs to be a true leader.

This loss hurts. Worst in the season, against a Raptor team that even at their best form we should beat.

It says a lot about this team when we played like this, undeciplined, panicing ball. It may be still early, but 20 games into the season, it's getting close. Also, it may be just one of those bad games that Spurs, Jazz, Dallas would also lose. But, they probably wont lose one like this when need to win. They usually have stinker when they have 17-3, 16-4 kind of record.

Let's see how Rox play the next strech of 5,6 games.

    T-mac's quote at the bottom:
    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=AuVhn2psPk5HDLbB8hqjHiG8vLYF?gid=2007120928

You sensed it right that T-mac had another agenda, I don't know which one below:
    1) Pad his stats
    2) Make Francis play bad
    3) Not allow Yao to shine. Maybe he was bothered Yao had too much of the attention from Toronto fans and he did't considering he started there.
    4) Sabotage the Adelman offense that worked so well even with the secound unit executing it.

T-mac's play really zapped the energy out of everybody, which also killed their defense and rebounding. Imagine playing with someone who goes 1 on 5 several trips in a row (and miss bad shots!)when the team had been playing so well.

One of the reasons for the loss today I think was Adleman's adjustments, especially in the 3rd quarter when we gave up the lead. I was shocked and kept on looking at the bench to see if anybody was getting ready to check in when Toronto was creeping up and making their run. It stayed with that crap all quarter long almost.

#2 is my biggest concern. I hope it isn't true but maybe T-Mac feels threatened by all the love Francis gets in Houston. I can't remember the last time McGrady played such a poor and selfish game.

    These are facts:

    1) Francis started his first game of the year.
    2) McGrady appeared to deliberately play selfishly much of the game.
    3) McGrady commented about the need for Alston in the lineup after the game.

Maybe it's all just a series of coincidences.

    You draw your own conclusions.

IF the above statements are true about McGrady and his style of play for this game, or his agendas, suspend him. Very good thing for a "team" CAPTAIN to do

McGrady is the LAST person that should be icing teammates out the system and thinking about popularity games. HORRIBLE. This guy should welcome in 9 All-Star players at his position if it means it helps him for once WIN BIG

NBA's a tough business, you cant MISS anybody that on a day-to-day injury on his FIRST GAME OUT! you gotta plug in the next guy and go with what you got. If a player isn't doing what they're supposed to and they're capable of doing it, go HELP THEM OUT. What'd Francis do to McGrady to have McGrady freezing him out? But McGrady can help Rafer out?

Really I don't want to believe it, so I'll choose not to...

Then the national media will all put out reports that confirm their preconceived idea that Francis is a cancer.

maybe tmac was pissed about the interview francis had with john thompson ... dunno why but seems like tmac doesn't like the fact that francis is taking a lot of the attention away from tmac ... and i guess tmac wants to show francis that this is his team... anyway this game was a real eye opener  i really hope they can get along as the season progresses

SF3 has made a bigger impact on this city than t-mac has or ever will, T-Mac has no heart hes all about himself. I dont see how some people on this board love this guy(t-mac),whats has he done for the ROX but score 13 pts in 33secs. Steve only took 4 shots this game. Imagine if jacked up 22 FG how much points he would have scored. T-Mac will never be as good as Jordan,Kobe,KG, they all play similar to eachother but only 3 of the have heart and a will to win games.

If T-mac is going to be like this, better trade him for Kobe. Initially, I didn't like the Kobe-T-mac trade idea for chemistry reasons but a Selfish Kobe is way better than the Selfish T-mac.

Someone should make a thread about this. I dont want to believe it but as I was watching i was thinking that there seemed to be tension on the floor for some reason.

Do you guys really believe tmac was trying to freeze out steve, or was he just trying to freeze out everybody.

What a stupid problem to have on a team that hasnt been past the first round in like a decade. Attention?
