This group has shown to be mentally fragile. No wonder JVG was so hard on them. They have no desire or motivation to push themselves.

    POOOOOOR RAFER HATERS!

I guess you all will just have to acknowledge the fact that Rafer is by far the best PG on the team, and should start every game. Francis can't start. James can't start.

LOL @ all the people that were happy that Rafer got hurt and thought Francis should be start. That is why you're fans and not coaches.

Don't judge Francis just on this game. He's been the best one at getting Yao the ball in the past games. These two have great chemistry. Yao needs to shoulder some of the blame for this lost too. There was one play where he just held the ball and waited for the double team.

Exactly people have short memories. Steve barely plays and then you ask him to start and expect way to much his first game. He's playin catch up.

    You are joking right?

The bulls won't even do the trade with Kobe on the table.

I was about to rant about Scola only getting 3 shots and playing 18 minutes, and then I see that he got 5 fouls!? In 18 minutes!? My God.

Obviously, he needs to stop committing stupid fouls. When he's not doing that, we need to get him shots. At least 10 per game. His ability to finish very efficiently near the basket and make jumpers was supposed to be a huge boost for this team. He should be our 4th/5th leading scorer IMO.

Rafer is very poor at passing to Yao Ming ina scoring position and always has been. So your assumption is incorrect!
We have only one true playmaker on our team who can pass to Yao Ming and his name is Tracy McGrady! I believe that his playmaking is much more important to us than his number of points scored.
Steve Francis has never been a pass first point guard and has little experience in passing into Yao! :p

i was ticked off about what charles barkley said about franchise after the john thompson interview, but I hate to say that chuck knew what he was talking about.Francis never really learned how to play the game,or even the point gaurd position. He has a difficult time finding that fine line between being a distributer and knowing when to score. And adelmin has to have a talk with steve about how he wants steve to play.Does he want francis to just play his natural game which means you might see a lot of turnovers and ball stopage or does he want him to play how hes playing now which means you will see alot of hesitation and indecisive shot selection.Man!!! I really want to see francis do well.I am really rooting for him.

waht are you talking about, rafer is the only guy who consistently gets the ball to Yao, even yao said he likes the way rafer gives him the ball........these rafer haters need to get their head straightened out

THe Center Position is dependant upon being set up in scoring position. McGrady is the only player currently on the teram who can do this and still score 20 points. If he concentrates on scoring big numbers the team concept goes for naught!

yawn, the minutes james/francis shows a flash of good play, people want them to replace rafer, now all of a sudden they realize they can't, and clamor for more time.

So over 20 games into the season and the team looks worse than it did on opening night?

Somebody's finger better be hovering over the panic button.

by the way the problem with this team is they cant score. If francis cant become that third scorer then he cant help this team if they cant find someone to become that third scorer then they need to trade for one. problem is they will have to trade some good players to get one like battier scola and brooks.
