Im glad Rafer is not playing today. Too bad he is hurt. I think he should take a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time to heal! :D

That being said, I think Steve needs to move the ball up the court quicker so that we can get into the offense faster with more time on the shot clock. He seems tenative to move it up quickly against the smaller TJ Ford. Maybe MJ getting his pocket picked has Steve scared.

Steve is also tenative on his shoots. He needs to stop trying to be Wafer and a passer only. I think he is worried about being label as a ball hog, but he needs to be a penetrating threat to set himself different from Wafer. I know he penetrated a couple of times, but he should be able to penetrate, shot over or post up TJ at will.

Lets see what happens in the second half.

Rafer has done well for last couple of games, he is becoming a pass 1st PG.

Smart of Steve to step in for a shorter jumper considering his poor 3 pt shooting so far. But still, dont be afraid.

every time we get a nice lead t-mac goes for the homerun and toronto comes right back.

if we just keep playing like we did to get the lead we'd blow teams out but we just loosen up and go for the easy way out.

Seems like Rafer is a key factor for getting the ball to Yao where he wants it.

Tmac is just chucking now, and when he passes to Yao there is 5 seconds on the shot clock

Nah, the key factor is that Yao is rushing his shot, and not getting closer to the basket.

We lose a game that should have been a blowout. Thanks, TMac.

Yao's post moves are attrocious, poor positioning, cannot seal nor back down his man,

he has regressed much with this offense. Too bad this coach will not give him the time as Van Gundy did.
