i have a feeling that this game will determine the rest of the road trip. If we lose this,it could be a snowball effect. But winning, might build enough confidence to then beat phily. Plus the raptors are the suckiest team on this road trip so losing to them would be a bad sign.

    raptors 103
    rockets 99

Texans 45 Bills 7....oh this is basketball?

In that case the Rockets should take care of business, although I see it being very close. 85-80 Rox.

    Go Rockets and Texans!

i dont think Yao would allow Carter to dunk on him , like when he dunked on that French dude in the Olympics. Carter basically jumped over him. Yao has said that is his greatest fear. I think if Vince tries Yao will grab him and slam his ass down on the floor.

Toronto are pretty damn horrible, and don't have anyone to bother Cato at the 4. Aside from that, Mobley and JJ can do a decent job on Carter.

I don't see how we can lose this game, barring complete stupidity:

    Should be a no-brainer.

Raptors are struggling badly with their offense
they so not have a good defense.

Dont be fooled by their home record.
    Especially the Dallas win.
Mavs were without Nash and Fortson, we know by experience how crucial Nash is to the Mavs offense.

It is also imprtant for Cato and Yao to keep Williams and Davis off the glass. they have both been putting up nice numbers on the boards...particularly on the offensive glass...do not give the Raps second chance opportunities.

Toronto does well at protecting the ball, but they are also no good at causing turnovers.
Should lead to a low turnover night for the Rox, barring stupidity.

    Rockets win handily

the downside of this is that the raptors would be extra motivated to put on the points against houston because of the rockets defensive record so far this year.

Man we have got to keep winning. As well as we've played so far we are still only 2 games ahead from being in last place in our division. Doesn't that sound crazy? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/standings

Kevin O'neal is kinda of like JVG in a way.

I see raptors playing hard-core defence but Yao will keep them at bay.

    94-81 for rox

Air Canada Centre will make YAO feel like home :)

What a strange time for a non-national TV game. I even checked Telemundo to see if it was one of the weekend basketball games they broadcast. (Unfornately, they are only broadcasting one Rocket's game this season, and nothing is more fun than watching the Rockets in Spanish :) )

I'd just like to thank Rockhead and whoever else contributes to typing the play-by-play in the chat room, does alot for us Rockets fans not fortunate enough to live in Houston anymore.

Rockets should have little trouble with the Raptors, unless Carter has a big game, I'm not really confident we can guard him well if he's hot.

    Yao: 33/15/5
    Steve: 18/6/9
    Cat: 15/3/8
