In hindsight, it's easy to say we should have fouled. What if we fouled and they made both free throws. Then they foul us and we miss both. And then ...well u know. We forced it out of their star player's hand to a guy that's not known to hit threes. The worst that could happen was overtime. Unfortunately, it didn't work out to rocket's advantage. Tough loss!, but it happens. Bring on Philly.

Just like when JVG criticized the team for being fragile while Steve says otherwise.

That's arrogance and not a winning attitude.

Steve's nba history suggests he is one of the more difficult personalities in the league. JVG has admitted to having weak people management skills (which was Rudy's strength). I can't see this partnership getting easier in the long run.

"He was just unlucky", Bosh said of Fransis's long- range attempt. "He just threw it up and hoped it went in".

Damn, the Rockets suck....The offense sucks and the defense is overrated...

The Rockets will be under .500 by the end of November....write that one down...

Steve's history is mixed at worst and overall it's arguably positive.

In the negative category you have draft night, and apparent failure to follow JVG's instructions yesterday.

In the positive, you have Steve reaching out to teammates including going so far as to drive the rookie, Yao Ming around and help him get used to the pressures of the NBA. He also went out of his way to make Ming feel welcome during practices and games by stretching and going through the warmups with him. Earlier this year Steve showed a willingnes to try the new system. Steve every year in the league, has gone out of his way to compete in events at the All-Star game, and make himself available as there for the fans and the league. Unfortunately he threw away the part about trying the new offense yesterday, but to say he's one of the more difficult personalities over the course of his NBA career isn't accurate.

I am surprised that you hjavn't noticed it ,its been very obvious. Its one of the factors that will prevent Yao Ming from ever fulfilling his potential.
