    The best thing that I feel is that there is chemistry between Ariza and Battier.

    i think the ron ron deal and kobe together could work, if they were in another city than LA. They have constant Laker fans since they got Gasol, so they get the nba powerhouse drama after every game. I think that Ariza will give us what we payed for him. At least it isnt the stro show again. Im glad CD was in so morey didnt ask us to send emails to ilovestromile@stromilelookshot.net.

    Battier wont be going 8/9 from 3 again in his life. Nice showing, but too bad he had to blow that load in a preseason game.

    I'd say its definitely a bigger steal...

    the deal came with prayers from the best citizen of the league

    thats priceless.

    (on the other hand paying his ass into his 30's isn't as bad as you think as the Laker's championship window is exactly that long)

    He might as well do it in preseason against the worst defensive team in the league. :)

    There is no way he was ever going to do it in a playoff or regular season game anyway.

    Considering Ariza's market value was set in MLE range - I wouldn't necessarily call it a steal.

    Nice to see him get his shot today though.

    They just said he looks good, and the video cam was showing him shooting jump shots. Didn't even show the net to see how many went in.

    Didn't get to see the game, but followed the boxscore. Alll I could think when I saw Battier's line was "man, what a waste."

    One thing that will never change is the rockets unpredictability, no one expected shane to drop in 26 points or for the team to beat S.A. and Boston then lose to the crapy Bucks. I guess thats why I'm a fan.
