Great game. I like Pops a lot. Budinger still was decent with his passing skills. Brooks more like a SG. Lowry great effort. Battier, um what can I say about this guy? He's our leader.

I don't know if the coaches were trying out something but Andersen seemed to be taking a lot of 20 ft jumpers.

You guys won't win many games by playing D like tonight. Better tighten it up if you want to keep Bosh.

I know Battier and Pops stole the game, but how about Ariza tonight? Although the 5 TOs are discouraging, he seemed more comfortable in the offense today. He had a great game, very encouraging.

That's Andersen's game, I want Andersen to take those (and I would think the coaches want him to take those also). I was talking more about their defensive efforts and overall energy presence in the game, Andersen was a wallflower for the most part while Pops played like he was fighting for a roster spot (which he is).

5 TOs, lots of dribbling/breaking down man and then a jumper. Give AB a break. He's still young, it'll take time for him to learn how to dribble the shot clock out. Then again, he isn't surrounded by great players like Cato, Mo Talyor and Tito Maddox.

Don't forget the lost art of dribbling off your foot, it takes years of intense practice to get that down.

Tito Maddox wasn't even a rotation player, AB has Brian Cook if you want to match scrub for scrub.

Brian Cook isn't a rotation player either :D . See, they're more alike than you think.

    Brooks/Lowry
    Ariza/Taylor/McGrady
    Battier/Budinger
    Scola/Landry/Hayes
    Andersen/Pops/Dorsey/Yao

So, if Barry is leaving as reported, that leaves one spot open. Hoping Conroy or Temple gets it.

The sudden rise in Pops's stock bodes poorly for Will Conroy's chances of making the roster. :(

it's actually nice to see the rockets get some easy buckets compared to last year where they milked the entire shot clock only to get off a tough shot.

as much as everyone wants Lowry as the starter, it really isn't even a issue. Brooks could start but depending on the situation and feel of the game, Coach A can pull Brooks and play Lowry more minutes. Flexibility depending on what the situation calls for.
