ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Raptors 10/11/2021 (Preseason)

Rockets are very stagnant on offense because Daniel Theis brings nothing offensively, he can't create and he is only a spot up shooter.

Alperen Sengun should start, because the offense is very predictable, just stop the backcourt of KPJ and Green, Wood shoots 3s too much.

Alperen Sengun forces the offense by being a real forceful post player and creating offense by passing for easy points.

 

I think we need Gordon and Wall back on this team for the young fellas....they need help with peer coaching.

 

he should have brought in a development coach that can help coaches get better.

 

And he is not a PG, this is obvious.

But he was 1 of only 3 Rockets (Garuba & KJ) to be a positive +/- on the court.

Theis was a -23 for Pete's sake.

Green led team in turnovers with 7.

Armoni was 50% from 3.

 

Yeah we are the young and the reckless...

 

Sengun run the offence too much better than wood, he is a 19. He can pick, have the patient to pass to teammate.

 

KPJ is suppose to be our leader and if he does not get a call(like last year) he would complain and just do not pay defense...this is horrendous

 

That would be a mistake. First off Gordon looked no better than any of the guys today.

 

This has the look of a BADLY COACHED TEAM. No discipline, No structure, a lot of Iso Ball and bad defense

It's the coaching and players. Toronto beat us like this in Summer League and last yr too. Toronto has long forwards and defensive minded guards, Rockets have short frontcourt players and it's just not a good matchup

 

Theis has no business on starting 5.

 

One would think that because it is preseason that our #1 draft pick would be tearing it up and have inflated numbers. Nope. Kid better find a way to make an impact on the game when his shot ain't falling.

 

How does sengun only get 17 mins when Theis was god awful?

Its still just a preseason game but no one outside of Green should be off limits

Well, aren't we glad we have our pick this season. It's the next season I'm really worried about.

 

Sounds like he needs some….coaching….

 

Green gets the starting spot and starter minutes gifted to him when he's playing like garbage, meanwhile it's been three games, more if you count summerleague, and Sengun has looked like the best player on the court every single time, and he can't get more than 20 minutes a game? Where is the accountability, how long are we living off of reputation and draft order?

 

And silas even told before the game it will be less minutes for vets, theis specifically, and more for the young guys

 

You spelled Sengun wrong. Green looked worse than anyone out there.
