Correction: MJames is schooling Rafer, he has taken his manhood this game, I lost ALL respect for Rafer this game, because he showed that he has no guts and self-respect.

Rafer should take a lesson from MJames who IS playing like a PG AND a SG today, just killing the Rockets with his penetration and shooting.

He should also take a lesson from how hard/gutsy McGrady and Wesley are playing and toughening it out.

Sorry for the long post, but I just can't for the life of me understand how a player goes back to a place he left with so much animosity and returns there only to play so passive and so crappy. What a p****

Its called having a personality, its called standing up for yourself. If a guy comes up to you at a bar and spills a drink on you and then talks isht without you doing a thing and you dont do anything to retaliate and stand up for yourself, you would be a pu$$y too.

As long as Mike James keeps having games like this, and Rafer has games like this, the merits of the trade are always going to be questioned. Yeah, James is a snotty little f*ck playing for a contract, but he's a snotty little f*ck playing for a contract and on his way to a career night and possibly a triple double. The Rockets could use one of those, oh, about twenty games ago.

This is not an And 1 game. Rafer is playing within Van Gundy's system. Yeah, his shot is off tonight. But TMac is the center of our offense, not Rafer, and not Mike James. Mike James' play right now is exactly why he isn't on the Rox team anymore. The whole offense has to revolve around James for it to work. And Mike James is not nearly good enough for an offense to revolve around him for 82 games plus playoffs.

True, but what's done is done, we can't go back and undo moves/trades/signings etc. I don't think Rafer is a tradable player because of his nasty contract, which he certainly didn't deserve.

And now, the rookie Villanueva is taking Swift's manhood.

but nobody actually cares about that. and i bet being a cvnt was the last thing on j ho's mind. he's out of the game and mj is fired up. thats the only thing that was accomplished. he wasn't trying to save face. he was taking his anger out.

It isn't just Alston's shot. He has all of three rebounds and four assists to go with those zero points.

Again, I don't like dwelling on the past too much, but all signs point to the fact that MJames wanted to keep his arse in Houston (how else do you explain he's so bitter about the trade to this date?) and even if he demanded a multi-year contract at 4-5 mil/per, we could've signed him and STILL had a much more tradeable player than we have in Rafer now, because most teams value a MJames/Cuttino Mobely type scorer a lot more than they do a Rafer Alston type of guard, that's just reality in this league.

Most of them are in Rafer's face, so I am cool with that. Anything that humiliates him even further is OK by me.

JVG's defense is built around making offese's shoot just that...the big problem is that when their offense is hitting, he never has another strategy he sticks to his old ways and we continue to get burned its that simple.
