you are ridiculous for assuming all that. we lose the next 5/6 games?

tonight's game will NOT be easy by any means, i'm not expecting a win, but i want to atleast see the players motived and play for 48 minutes. Pistons at home are one of the toughest competitions in the whole league. Especially now with them wanting revenge. I expect them to come out in the first minute of the game and bust their asses trying to get a huge early lead on us. I think they'll stick it out like this the entire game, unless we can get a comfortable lead. they're a very disciplined and experienced team, unlike us.

as far as the raptors, we'll pwn them no question
boston? i have a feeling we'll take them down
orlando? depends on if we win the boston game, if we lose it, we beat orlando
golden state, we blow them out early and win by atleast 10 points.

It will still take most of the entire season for this team to really start to show it's potential. Hopefully we can make a solid statement in the playoffs atleast, and continue to improve throughout next season. We will be a top team in league.

    BTW:

my keys in winning tonight's game...

Do not adapt to their game!
Let's go out there and play our game, and make them adapt to us!

Being at the last Pistons matchup, it was painfully obvious how easy Rafer makes it on Chauncy Billups. Skip was getting posted up, passed by, outweighed all night. Luckily, Billups deferred most of the time he took us off the dribble and their whole squad shot poorly. In fact, the final play I believe Billups had a lane to the basket handed to him by Skip and passed outside.

If the Pistons are well organized as I have been led to believe, they will take one look at the game footage and exploit that mismatch much more this game than they were able to last.

We won last time because of great defense. It will take the effort same to win tonight. We could help ourselves by hitting some free throws this time around, but I doubt the Rockets feel like making anything easy on themselves...

You Know your supposed to make teams match up with you and with Brooks the same applies.Sure Billups can back him down, but Brooks can blow by him at will opening up their defense like a ripe melon.
We're obviously still transitioning,at the end of a long road trip(back to back road game),and with a deal most likely coming down the pike,I like our chances to win this game 75% of the time later in the year. We're still learning our offense for pete's sake though.

Still, after the blowout(giving our guys rest) and with Brooks finally being allowed to get splinters out of his butt....maybe we take this one now.

The Rockets are a better team when T-Mac is a scorer. They were 6-1 when he was going off for 40pts and leading the league in scoring...only when Adelman wanted him as a playmaker and to run the pick and roll did he, and the Rockets as a whole, start sucking. If he finished plays off like last night instead of starting them, the Rockets will smoothly run the offense.

I predict a win. The 2 guys to look for are Bonzi and Yao...both very difficult guards for Detroit, especially with Bonzi and his power game opposed to the light Detroit backcourt.

I am really tired of Hayes missing those easy layups under the basket.

Why is Stevie inactive? Injury or just because of poor performance?
