It's different with subjective foul calls (did he make too much contact or not? Or judging a flop)
But the goaltend was OBVIOUS. You CAN'T take the ball off the cylinder.
Also, if a basket is made, you can't just take off down the court with the ball without inbounding first.
Or, if the ball rolls off the back of the backboard, it's out of bounds.
There is no gray area on that sort of thing.
It's not a matter of 'maybe'. The goaltend was a blatant non-call

Gordon’s primary roll on this team is scorimg off the bench. Defend him all you want...he’s been atrocious this season.

completely agree on gordon. his constant complaing even annoys me.

but i actually think harden needs to be a lot more vocal, both in-game and postgame. as the mvp he is literally raped out there by these zebras. case in point, HOU is undoubtedly called for more freedumb of emphasis violations than any other team, and yet harden is grabbed/tripped/kneed/held basically every possession with zero calls.

because of his high profile, if he raises hell in a game or at the press table -- at least the media whores will pick up on it. this is basically our only chance at putting any type of pressure on silver.

I blame the loss on our coach.
MDA had ZERO adjustment in clutch time this game.

While we’re waiting for the real Eric Gordon to show up, maybe we should give Vince Edwards a try.

Just thinking about it right now, the only thing really holding James back is conditioning. When he's at full energy and full-go, he's unstoppable...the burst, the handle, the decision-making. It's all so sharp.

But when he starts to lose steam, like tonight, he really becomes a different player. He starts moving a bit slower, he gets sloppy with ball, and just loses awareness. Even dating back to his earlier career struggles on defense and notorious games where he looks completely out of it, you can trace all that back to conditioning.

If he could just physically break past these points of exhaustion (I know it's easier said than done lol)...man, sky would really be the limit.

I won't blame the refs for this one. Harden was 5 for 7 after the 1st quarter (15 points), but finished 9 for 26 (33 points). He never adjusted to Drummond in the paint until late. Should've been pulling up for that short jumper instead of getting blocked 3 or 4 times. He also turned the ball over at end when we could've gotten 2 for 1. And he gave up that wide open 3 in OT, because he lost track of his man ball watching after the switch.

This game was basically even. Both teams shot poorly. It was a hard fought game. I thought they defended us well on the perimeter.

On to the next game. The schedule is pretty easy for the next week.

When Capela was drafted many of us thought on no, another big Euro stiff that will never see the NBA. How wrong we were. Honestly, back then, did anyone see tonight's game in Capela's future?

Morey needs to get more bench help because when Gordon is off, it’s not pretty. Gary is there for his defense and Green is way to streaky. If we had any help off the bench tonight this was a win.

I think we’re in for games like this for a while. MCW and Carmelo are dead weight on the roster. But they can’t be flushed until December 15th, and I think they’re needed as throw-ins.

Our bench is often dogs***. Like, uh, tonight.

Naw...can’t put this one on MCW or Melo. They literally got zero burn. Blame the guys that played.

EGO will be fine, I like that his defense and ability to attack the rim haven’t been impacted by his poor shooting. Green Light, though, needs to be banished to scrub status, but unlikely until we see either Knight come back or make a trade.

Pistons won on a lucky ass 3 from Blake at the end of regulation and a missed goaltending call. Simple. Not losing sleep over this 1. Loved the defense, inability to grab boards notwithstanding.
