It looks like we are cursed.

We are cursed we still can't win at Detroit.

We are cursed we still collapsed in the 4th quarter.

We are cursed JVG still refuses to make any significant change.

JH3 was horrible tonight and a black hole to this team. YAO killed this game in the 4th. bUT I blamed coach: you need adjust your game plan. TMAC should take over 4th not YAO!

The third quarter is not the fourth quarter teams coast until the 4th quarter then turn it up a notch.

since when Yao is supposed to play the most minutes in our team? there got to be something wrong here, especially he only played half of the 4th, which means he basically palyed non-stop for the first 3 Qs

True, look at the box score and it looks like Yao was dominant but he wasn't. He faded in the 4th and committed some critical turnovers, he was noticably fatigued. This is as good as Yao gets condition wise, he's 26 and works out like a maniac so don't expect him to get much better.

The team is flawed and needs a 3rd option unfortunately Battier and Snyder aren't it and JVG ain't playing Bonzi. JVG is pig headed even the Detroit announcers hinted that Bonzi should be on the floor.

JVG and our role players left much to be desired.

I can't believe that JVG is completely unable to grasp this simple notion: when you have teams forcing the ball out of McGrady and Yao's hands, you put in as many shooters as you can to spread the floor and present another offensive threat that they MUST pay attention to.

I can't f***ing understand for the life in me how the heck he's unable to comprehend that he should AT LEAST play Novak and/or Bonzi when you have your two stars shut down like this.

I am going f***ing crazy here!

Agree. Yao can play at high level at about 33-34 min, but that's it. Keeping him in too long will backfire. That's the problem I always have with JVG. He is stubborn, and always insists on his way instead of adjusting the scheme to the strength and weaknesses of his players.

I hope his stuborn streak runs him right out of town. How many times do you have to be part of a train wreck before you figure out not to play on the tracks. JVG is part of the problem and not the solution.

by my count Yao would have been only useful for 5 min in the 4th

having played the full 3rd quarter

I said I would be ecstatic with a 6-4 record after the first ten, so, I am officially ecstatic. :(

i also wonder our team has 12 active players, why so stubborn that have to follow the book to use certain players(which some of them has a bad nite)and not try to mix it a little bit to use another players? i can say we could win those games.

Why you guys always blamed yao and T-mac?
It is very obvious that they all very tierd in the 4th quater.
All the reason of losing the game is JVG sucking tactics.
Why he didn't use VSPAN or Novark especialy Novark?
He is a stupid fool!and should be fired as soon as possible!!!!!

If you don't think that Bonzi Wells would have made a difference in today's game, you are just blind.

JVG is too stubborn for his own good.

    1, coach thing.
2, Why not play Vspan, there were bunch of TOs anyway, plus, T-mac was teamed so tight, and Rafer was messing around. still coaching problem.
3, Put yao on the bench if he is not doing good, no matter whoever it is, no efficiency, no play.
4, When 4 assists are the highest, and it is from the center, we have problem, because we are not pulling the team together.
5, Juwan got a pretty record, 0 point, 0 PF, at least he could partake some PFs from T-mac.
6, Gandy, is hardly an average level.

Only these several guys play, why JVG don't give other guys chances?
T-MAC rested on the bench almost a whole 3rd quarter, but Yao can't, when T-MAC was in his rhythm, he should in the court and hold this team, Yao can rest, when T-MAC was not, Yao in!

Hey, let me pretend to be a JVG homer.

    "Coaches dont miss shoot."

"Coaches dont turn the ball over."

    "Coaches dont miss free throw."

"Coaches dont play on the court."

    "Coaches are perfect in theory."

    whatever!!!
