he is being DOUBLED.....we need a 2nd option on offense...someone else who can create in the crunch.....

And not playing Novak when our team can't score is not just dumb...it is utterly STUPID !!

I would not mind JVG being fired...honestly the guy has no clue how to manage a game......none.

He's not superman, he can't beat constant double or triple-teams on him.

That's the best way to shut down the Rox: deny McGrady the ball and deny him penetration.

You gotta give credit when it's due.

There are 36 seconds remaining, McGrady should take quick three after three here.

Jvg will probably have to use VSpan and Novack to save his own ass soon.
I doulbe if it would be too late then.

What a great idea. The guards stop passing to Yao until they find themselves down by 13.

Team has taken on the quitter mentality of McGrady. While he thinks about retirement, those guys are thinking about their post game showers. Lack of character is appalling on this team... even worse is how Yao continues to struggle with high % shots.

The fact that Van Gundy refuses to put V-Span and Novak in and instead puts JHo and Padgett disgusts me.

I can't believe we lost this game. :(

When a team makes a huge run why don't the Rockets ever call a timeout?

digusting, we finally see the rockets for what they are.... a weak hearted team.

Sure, they can win against bad teams..and only barely. But against other contenders like Detroit and Spurs (yes, I'm well aware Detroit is 3-4 right now, 4-4 soon..but they will be contenders come playoff time), they don't have what it takes to beat them and simply crumble in crunch time.

I honestly hope the Rockets lose the next couple of games so JVG will be fired.

It's amazing to me that the only player that displays any energy late in the game is Yao.

He's moving, running, spinning, banging. Everyone else looks like they are running in quicksand.

Vangundy has made some terrible decisions in this one too.
