Rockets have a winning record this season when Sengun and/or Green aren't playing.

 

I think you underrate him, he was a legit former head coach, admittedly not a very good one, he is now too old to be a coach.

The experience is there.

He has bad ears very likely and those tend to speak louder than other people.

 

I wouldn't read too much into it.

Last season Gary Bird, Gordon, Tate were going off in the great winning streak.

They are all role players.

 

Role players I think just play more lose and are less hesitant when the "head hanchos" (Sengun, Green, KPJ) aren't playing.

And then he got significant minutes down the stretch. We need this kind of tough love to apply to all our players. Silas is not a leader of men. He would make a great summer camp or band camp leader.

 

Yeah. Ppl to comfortable losing and doing the wrong things. We need everybody uncomfortable with the way our team is performing

 

Completely forgot to even look if we had a game last night so I missed it. But I was very annoyed to see we beat the Pistons since they're our competition. Very stupid.

 

Rockets tried everything. Not playing Sengun, Green etc.

 

Hopefully Jalen Green will be back next game so we can get back to losing.

The team just isn't the same without their tank commander.

 

Hopefully KPJ will come back soon to help lead the tank and continue to r****d the development of our legit building blocks.

you can clearly see that we’ve played better as he’s missed these games and I am concerned about an upward swing taking us out out top 3 contention.

cant wait for him to come back and divert the offense from running through Sengun.

I rewatched the first 4 mins of the game and didn’t see any time where KMJ missed his assignment. He did get overpowered on a drive and ended up fouling on a 3 point play and the second foul was on a fast break where he went up for the block and got the foul which I thought was questionable. If anything it looked like he was giving more effort on both sides of the court than anyone else. That said, with two fouls I don’t disagree he should be taken out. But to call him out as Lucas did as if he wasn’t giving effort didn’t seem justified, I would be upset too if I were KMJ.

 

It’s the same results on the court. Still bad defense. Still high turnovers. Still bad getting back in transition. Even worst pnr defense and we still have problem playing solid ball in the 4th. We were melting down in the Fourth before and after KPJ injury. This is clearly more on the coaching than the player

 

Those 2 wins do it for you? lol. Lucas was 8-34 at his last head coaching gig and, let's be serious - we're celebrating a "comeback" win where we led by something like 12 over the damn Pistons with both teams missing players.

 

It is what a bottom team does, cheer for every rare win.

Not much to do....

 

Bro every last band camp leader, drum corps tech, drum major and caption head I ever had was demanding AF. Didn't mind absolutely shredding you in front of everyone.
