Right now us being better than all of those teams depends on whether not only John Wall and Oladipo return to form but even if they do can they stay on the floor? Like I said we'll see. And thats why ive been saying to people you dont have to say "tank or dont tank" we are arleady more than likely to be bad enough to keep our pick.

 

Refs were awful tonight.

 

I think they started the season strong on a favorable schedule. And I do hope Embiid never gets hurt again, he's a real cool big man. But until they stop choking in the clutch I don't think they'd ever be considered "favorites".

i must admit i am uninformed cause i didnt watch them this year...and i hope joel stays healthy... but man they reek of mediocrity, they were never even close to title....and they were losing AND TANKING HEAVILY for 5 years....ben simmons 40 mil cant shoot and they have tobias harris 40 mil contract......not looking good...

not hoping but realistically embiiid is of a shaky health...just saying one injury to joel and they are completely done... and onto a next 5 year tank...

 

Is there a reason why Jones hardly saw the court tonight? He's been hot for a few games now and suddenly can't get on the court?

One of the things Silas has to get the team better at is playing with pace. Offensive sets take too long and they don't move fast enough which can stall the offense.

 

With Wood and Wall back I think our transition game will look a bit better. It'd be nice to see the defence gel and have Wall/Dipo/Tate create TOs with their activity.

 

I was wondering the same thing. I canr really think of anything mclemore does better than him. Maybe they are trying to showcase mclemore to get a 2nd round pick or something

 

Jones still find his lane in the league. He seems to have a short leash.

That's a possibility. You'd have to think he's someone who's been flagged for a trade along with House and Tucker. The only thing I'll say is McLemore plays faster than Jones. Jones plays under control but can take a LONG time setting up plays and doesn't move fast enough on offense. He has got to clean that up.

Also wonder when we'll see porter in the mix?
