It's probably more like the Spurs, Grizzlies, or Warriors. The Mavs already jumped into #7 tonight and I expect them and the Nuggets to separate from those 3 teams.

I feel like we should just be honest and say neither really belong in the NBA I mean just because Demarcus is bad doesnt make Bruno all of a sudden good and NBA worthy lol We do need a real center though.

Are we really better than those three teams though? Especially the Warriors? What if all those teams continue to do a little better than us? I think thats more likely unless we make changes but we'll see.

Idk. I said this earlier in the thread. I'd be cool with Boogie with a hard cap at 10 minutes a game with a rule he can only shoot wide open 3's. If he did that he'd be slightly helpful and more valuable than Bruno.

Bruno is better perimeter defender, help defender, rim protector, finisher AND 3P shooter.

Boogie is much better playmaker but he is too great of a NET negative on the court.

It really depends on health and what kind of player Oladipo is. He looked like 2018 Dipo in that first game after a few bad turnovers early. The last two games he looks like he's there physically but something is just off. If we get generally good health and Dipo closer to where he was in the first game I think we can be better than all those teams, especially the Spurs.

I mean...I guess the question is, is Dipo better than Morant right now?

Boogie's defensive rebounding is better when he's not gassed. I think if you let Bruno and Boogie get up 100 3's in the gym Boogie is going to make more. Bruno is also all over the place. If Boogie comes to terms with where he's at (big if) I think I'd trust his passing, outside shooting, and defensive rebounding for a short period each game more than I'd trust anything from Bruno.

I mean...if I were Detroit , I would fire management, hire a competent FO and then continue to tank. Then you would be fine. ;) I hope Dallas does their job tomorrow.

I'd for sure take Morant at the moment but 2018 Dipo was better. I'd also probably take Wood over anyone else on their roster.

Might be a slightly unpopular opinion, but I'd rather the Rockets not tank this season. Basketball first and foremost is a form of entertainment for us, and if the product is trying it's best to be shitty then it would be really hard to watch. If we just lose a bunch of games and still play hard, I'm totally cool with it because that's part of a good team culture. But if we just totally stop giving a **** about winning games, then it'll be hard to change that mindset. Just look at the Sixers...though perhaps this is the year they finally get over the hump.
