The Pistons run their half-court sets to perfection... but they essentiually run the same style of offense that the Rockets do, with a ton of picks, movement, and passing.

The difference, obviously, is the TALENT... but the system does work.

JVG would make the pistons unbeatable. seriously, he would make those guy's into the best defensive team of alltime.

I understand. I've lost alot this week as well.

benching him for a few minutes definitely ice'd him though. questionable move by JVG because Mcgrady didn't look like he wanted to come out.

Win or lose, you gotta be encouraged by tonights effort. they really had a go against the most formidable teame in the league in there place.

Mr. Hayes is coming up big again. Big offensive rebound, took it to Big Ben for a foul and made both fts.

and now he fouled out :(

I agree. at that point tracy was really firing on all cylinders. then JVG takes him out and he goes cold. it really did'nt look like he was tired or anything. just a coaching blunder,

Something tells me he'd gladly exchange Alston-Wesley-Hayes-Mutombo for the talent of RIP-Billups-Wallace-Wallace.

It really would be the best defensive team ever... provided they put forth the full effort that JVG demands (Which they probably would... the Pistons players are class acts, who work hard and know that nothing comes easy).

Mutmbo picked a hell of time to fall asleep on the court.

It's not just that. the chemistry that those guys hve created is amazing. everyone knows where they gotta be on every possesion and the excecute it really well. it's like watching a group of robots at work. they are so damn effecient it's scary.

Yep... and that's JVG's overall goal. We had it going pretty good here last year (hence JB's quote, "Welcome to the machine!!!"), but the injuries to all these guys this year prevents any sort of chemistry from happening.

W or L... I'm satisfied by this game.

please someone tell JVG not to run that play where the inbounds passer throws the ball to one of our big men down low...

You have to try to win right now. You ain't beating them in OT.
