Let's see. It was third-worst team in the NBA versus third-best team in the NBA when the Rockets tangled with the Mavs.

Now, it's the absolute-frickin-best in the NBA versus the fourth-worst team in the NBA.

I would absolutely love to see a win. However, I don't think it's going to happen.

    98-77, Pistons. And yes, that's with T-Mac.

    C'mon, Rockets, prove me wrong.

They make the Hawks and the Bobcats play the Pistons. Why should the Rockets get a pass?

We're almost there and the game hasn't even been played. A better target might be 100 - 150.

Agreed, with regard to Mr. Billups. Shut him down, and I think you cut the heart (or at least a ventricle or two) out of the Pistons.

JVG isn't scratching his head about how to match up with the Pistons, though. He knows what needs to be done. The hard part is getting the players to execute his plan.

Agreed. His hustle and threes before he went back to the D-League still haunt me. :D

I think between Mutombo,Hayes,Baxter and Howard we can keep up with the Pistons on the rebounds. Tmac,Howard and WEsley must provide the scoring if we are to win though. I have a feeling we can win if we play good defense and play loose afterall we are 13-25 what do we have to lose? Rockets win 103-99 Go Rockets!!!

We have no chance at all even if Yao comes back. This Piston team is too good to beat. Spurs tried twice and we all know the result.

I'm glad T-Mac is back. If he wasn't I'd almost bet money that they break the all time low for points in a game.

Now with T-MAC back. Its going to be a close game.

    Rockets 88
    Pistons 83

I'll be depending on the chat for my PBP since the game isn't on tv here in College Station. :(

haha, exactly what i was thinking, but you gotta love that attitude from Rox fans. But whatever, I've adjusted my expectations of this team to the point where it's a pleasant surprise when they win any game. If they win against Detroit, then it's just a huge bonus.

TMac is going off. Unfortunately the Pistons are as well. I absolutely hate the Pistons announcers already.
