Ho-Hum - Another game, another "Wood's man leads all scorers"

...his defense is so soft I'm going to star calling him Cialis for "soft wood".

I’m wondering what he does in the summer because a perimeter playing shooting free throws like this is kinda crazy

his 3 point shooting was atrocious too until he magically started shooting 40% from deep for several weeks, but I can’t even trust that his 3 point shooting is real and not just some miracle hot stretch because every indication is that he’s a way below average shooter

60% from the line…32% from 10-16 ft and 16 ft to the 3 point line, but then randomly shooting 37% from 3 on the season

 

In a sense you’re right. He’s a SG, but we have Jalen Green. He played SF in Cleveland and is probably not the long term solution there because he’s outmatched defensively against elite scorers, but right now we play Gordon and Mathews there so I’d like to see what it looks like until we can find an upgrade. Will he play backup PG or backup SG without throwing a tantrum?

Jalen Green possibly admire CC can play 40 mins in recent games. Green can easily get 30 points in 40 minutes playing time.

 

it will come down to a choice between the two. They are both combo guards and Green is gonna suck up most of the minutes at the 2. Tough decisions absolutely necessary in the offseason.

 

Roosh needs to stop…KPJr is not capable of playing PG well

u need more than talent…u need BBIQ and awareness too…u need court vision…u need to be able to shoot and be efficient

KPJr has decent talent as a scorer and ok passing skills…Rockets Twitter never keeps it real regarding KPJr

 

He was trying not to get dragged on Twitter. He was trying to say it in a politically correct way I think. Some people mentioned Sengun earlier today and the Sengun fanatics came for blood.

Any talent rookies would be frustrated to play for Silas.

 

KPJr is a guy who knows how to cook a few dishes, but has no formal training and doesn’t have much experience…we then made him head chef and told him to run the kitchen

Huh, now who was it that said that KPJ and Green were the same player and the team would need to choose.......oh yeah,.....ME!!!

Once again I am so far ahead of the norm......

Nix is the PG of the future, and if Green is the SG, and KPJ is not the SF, then he should be moved.

Good point and they are great friends, but they play nothing alike. KPJ is not a finished product, but he is 3 years in and with his contract situation on the horizon, we aren’t waiting until he’s 25 to see if he can become a PG.

 

At this point JG probably wishes he was in Detroit

 

I was thinking this too. He’d at least get his minutes and shots. Probably be featured. Silas is going to single handle my keep Jalen off the all rookie 1st team

 

Folks saw harden easily turn into assist king. Now folks thinkin they can do that with any players. Kpj can set up ez looks, but when defense tighten up, man looks lost.
