Questionable lineups by Silas. I just don’t understand. Why not let your best man defender Nwaba and instant energy guy play and guard Ingram when Tate or Green comes out? Why let Wood and KPJ run the entire first then having your second unit Brooks, KMJ, Matthews, JC and Tate? 3 out of those 4 can’t dribble drive and shift defenses. Why not play Theis off the bench to guard V? The odd lineups along with ineptitude of KPJ (7 TO) and Wood’s selfishness with a clear out call late in 3rd when Rockets were on a run down 8. He drove from left wing with 2 defenders on him and ingram left Matthews wide open and didn’t pass. This is why the Rockets don’t win. Plus missed opportunities when we get a TO. And I say again it starts with your best players who clearly aren’t winners at this point in their careers nor have ever been.

 

Damn this is what is coming down to, we want to play Nwaba because we thirsty for some good rockets basketball lol.

 

Why not? He has done great things in the past. His only setback is his inability to shoot. But KMJ can’t shoot either. Brooks is useless out there. My point was very specific in that lineup Silas had to begin the second had no one to attack or shift the D besides Tate and JC. Nwaba can drive run on the break and defend. Not sure why he doesn’t get more playing time especially when Brooks has players poorly and the Rockets lack intensity and effort.

 

He needs to shoot 3's with confidence during games. I lost count of how many times he passed up treys last night.

 

He can only get better just like JC and JG will.

 

Sengun will get better, a hell of a lot better. I'm not worried about him. I'm more worried about the makeup of the team. I'm holding out hope that we'll shake things up before the deadline expires. Otherwise, I might expire!

 

So you don’t think JC or JG will get better? If so why not?

Just asking since you did not mention them at all and only mentioned Sengun.

 

I was responding to what you said about Sengun. As for the other two, I certainly do expect them to get better. Heck, all three are just starting out in the league and all three are very talented. Whether our coaching staff, starting at the top, are good enough to do them justice is another question, in my opinion. I have my doubts.
