Theyre both great. On any given night either one can go for 30.

I still think gordon is a slightly better player because his size and defense but its all subjective.

We have the best bench in the NBA

ESPN game highlights didn't show any of Lou's baskets, only freaking Cousins. Their were no Rockets highlights at all. Ugh.

Brewer won't be playing much. Developing the young guys.

TNT wasn't much better giving the Rockets a C and a D grade for the trade.

Chuck saying that he has never seen a player go from a "me first" player into the league leader in assists - referencing Harden.

Why do people keep saying that Harden was a "me first" player? He has been setting up his teammates since High school.

Shhh.. you're preaching to the choir.. we know, lol. Just be happy Harden is getting love from the media now. You know they like to make up narrative's if this one ends in Harden getting a MVP lets just role with it.

    Random thoughts:

    - AD and Boogie have been my #1 and #2 wants respectively for Houston (so blow it up Pels!). Them on the same team is nuts. The #1 destination for 2K MyPlayer PGs for years to come!

    - That was a HYPED crowd. Lots of love and roaring ovations for Cousins, resounding boos for EGo. Felt amazing to play the villain and stomp that out.

    - Very cool seeing Harden struggle and the team improve rather than fall apart when the bench came in. Seeing him go crazy and be the biggest cheerleader on the bench was great!

    - With all of the Rockets trash players gone (save: Brown) there were really no bad options for MDA at any given moment. Losing Brewer was the biggest case of addition by subtraction I've witnessed as a Rockets fan. Still cannot believe they took that trash contract and a super late first and gifted us Lou.

    - Harden likely loses MVP with this acquisition. The better supporting cast will sway people toward Russ. Hope when it's all said and done, Harden is hoisting the trophy that matters but I don't think this moves the needle enough in terms of entering the GS/CLE tier (I thought we could take SA before this move and definitely do now).

Harden was in cruise control all night. He was not even look for his on offense and we led by 35 at one stage. This speaks volumes about the depth on this team.

Morey is a Jedi. You get rid of Brewer and gain an instant scorer off the bench. We also have depth in case Beverley or Gordon miss any time.

This organization knows what it is doing. Our best players, coach, and GM all share the same philosophy.

Another great move by Morey. I'm really like this team. Definitely my favorite team since 2004-05.

Speaking of depth our bench had 79 of our 129 points tonight or last night now with 46 of those between Gordon and sweet Lou.

This is certainly the best rockets team in a while. The only real concern for the rockets is paint defense, the rockets need a draymond type to cause havoc for opposing bigs and y'all will be close to the warriors. Y'all need dekker or harrel to step into that role.

I had the same thought last night. While Nene proved his worth by being our big bruiser against Cousings, we need a "big" that is hyperactive on the inside. Harrell almost fit that requirement to a T: hustles like a mother, cleans up the garbage points, good finisher. If only he could be a better rebounder...

Still, IMO Harrell is already positively impacting our game. I hope we see quite a bit of 4 shooters and Harrell for good stretches of a game. Kid needs to play.

You really stretching it there. Luke Walton played minimally for D'Antoni on the back end of a very meager career. It's comparable to saying Walton used a couple sheets of toilet paper from the same bathroom stall as D'Antoni at a Jack In Box type of a connection.
