You are arguing in your little corner.

I have never said they were not a good home team, I said they are really trash right now.....and probably above average or average at home.....

You can say the same thing about the Jazz that they can beat about anyone at home......are the Jazz that good?

Bulls have a better road record and play in the east. If the Rockets played in the east they'd be competing for the play-in.

In the west the Rockets have to jump the Warriors or Lakers just to get a play-in spot so that tells you all you need to know about the difference between the west and the east.

But usually teams don't start having good road records until they have true star players that show up night in, night out, and they don't care where the game is at they are going to perform. Rockets clearly do not have that. Our best players would be role players on better teams right now and role players play better at home.

It just shows you that they conserve most of the energy at home for the home fans but it is not the right way to play IMO......

Some of it was because Udoka focused on just 1-2 areas of basketball and which the Rockets excelled most at home.

They won't get into the Playoffs without a decent record on the Road that is just how it works.....

And it is not like the other team could have not won the close games at TC .......some of them were just
    2-4 points differential.

The Rockets were not invincible at home, they were just really uber competitive......

I think players just play better at home, obviously lots of reasons. Players will tell you they just have more energy, they get to sleep in their own bed, whatever the case. Plus you have the rare exceptions where cities try to sabotage teams. The stories about what opposing teams would get going to the Garden. Utah hotels actually food poisoning other players or being racist towards them. OKC housing opposing teams in an allegedly haunted hotel. Denver altitude, Miami's nightlife, and Toycen Depth Perception...so there's a lot of other things that might make a team stronger at home for sure.

But no I'm not saying they are invincible at home but they obviously play much better at home.

Of course they won't be a playoff team until they play better on the road. All I said is they play much better at home. If you agree with that then we agree.

NBA schedules are also different year in year out.

I remember when you had 3 games against one WC team, and it is up to the Commish to determine if you have 2 Home Games or 2 Away games.

Well put IMO…I see totally what you see. It is a joke to run down a damn guy who shots 3 out of 5 shots for 60%..2/2 on 3’s.He should shoot more ….take the initiative and put up shots because no one is setting him up for shots for damn sure.

Alpy’s defense is not good. He’s good everywhere else…he needs defensive development.Shot selection ….you have the ballhogs throwing up shots at 20 some-odd percent… and going 1 on 3 to the basket. Teams are much better at figuring him out now.I love Alpy…but, his defense ..well, I’ve already said it…needs a serious overall.FVV and Brooks are the leadership examples . Uh..ok..we are in deepdoodoo then.

Sengun is limited from a defensive standpoint. He can be at the right places but he's not a rim protector or a precense inside that anyone fears. That's why ultimately we will need that defensive big to truly compete. It helps Sengun.

Zion abuses 99% of people, doesn't mean you aren't a good defensive player if you can't stop him.

Amen and Cam coming off the bench is such a luxury.
