Benched? They pulled the starters because it was a blowout.

This was a great win on a back-to-back against a solid team on the road. Defense did what it needed to and Sengun dominated. Loved how they fought in every possession. It’s really refreshing seeing what this team is quickly becoming. Ime is the COY in my opinion.

 

Just finished the game. Watched the Pelicans feed. They were gushing over Jabari and Sengun.

They also pointed out how the Pelicans were picking on Tari, attacking him every time Ingram had the ball. I don't recall a team picking on Tari before. That was new to me.

Overall, awesome win. Did Jalen get hurt or was it just another 4th quarter benching? Pelicans broadcast didn't mention it.

 

Watching this game reminded me of Dragon Ball Z, we got Sengun as Goku, Jabari as Vegeta, and everyone else were like their teammates who always just get beaten up and watch Goku and Vegeta fight the bad guys.

But I guess that's to be expected cuz NO has so many amazing perimeter defenders they got a lot of athleticism and length it's honestly insane.

Kudos to the Rox to stepping up and beating a team that IMO is honestly one of the best in the West and built for the playoffs. Great job by Ime for the strategic masterclass, putting in Jeff Green at sg instead of Tari to stabilize the perimeter defense and slow it down was brilliant. Tari would've tried to match NO's quick pace whereas Green slowed it down even more. I think that, along with Sengun fouling out Valancinuas got the W this game.

 

He was 2/8 and we needed defense. Green still played though and was a key fsctor. The other Green lol.

 

Jalen can’t dribble, can’t pass, can’t finish around the rim, can’t hit open 3s can’t hit contested 3s

He looks like a shell of himself

 

Don't get me wrong, vets do help with culture change. but ultimately its down to the coach to provide the culture.

 

Role player...3rd or 4th option at best...that's what they said.

 

I didn’t say Silas was a good coach (rotations was awful ) he did what he was hired to do… and Alpi credited him plenty of time on getting on him about his conditioning

I would’ve been super worried for Amen and Jalen but we got the one of the hard knock coach who can break the weak mind and implant new identity so let’s give them couple years, meanwhile just enjoy Sengun, Bari & Tari show

Sengun? Dude had 24/15 in 3Q last night he wasn't benched because he didn't show up wtf it's cuz it was a blow out.

 

He was raw but this is not the Jalen we know. Imagine we having rookie season Jalen on this roster..

It takes time and for Jalen it's obvious all the hate is getting to him. He needs to take time to refine his shot I'm sure Ben Sullivan gonna work on him Stat.

 

All Silas cared about was letting KPJ get his empty stats. He's just an awful coach. Look at Sengun, Jabari and Eason now.

 

It’s almost like he needs to go back to 1st half rookie year Jalen (stand and catch and shoot) … he’s not even protecting the ball on drives..really wonder who he works with during summer
