I think Morey knew what he was doing. He might have signed Dorsey to bait Kostas. Also similar to the strategy of loading up 3 mid to late 1st rounders for Lamb, Good Ol Royce, and Jones...Morey knows not all of them are going to be hits. He's betting on 1 being a hit. So he loads up a bunch of low-cost "off the radar" guys and let's them go at it Battle Royale. Whoever performs the best wins the spot, and you hope you land a 1 million dollar contract playing like a 5 million dollar guy, which helps pay for maybe a million dollar guaranteed contract that had to be cut.

McHale is going to be really frustrating this year, even more than ever with this thin bench. That's why Ish can just run around and not be disciplined for it. Again zero accountability and Pelicans are running simple and effective plays, despite being a young team!

 

I hope they give Dorsey a little more time. It's just his second game coming off an injury.

 

That was spectacular. His hands were somewhere around the top of the backboard. He shows so much potential. Obviously needs work, but he has the basic skills and a big athletic body. If I am in charge, I sign him up.
