He will not get less efficient with MORE touches.

 

The defense is insane. I had no idea we'd be this good at it. It doesn't really make sense. John Wall is coming off an injury, Boogie is slow AF, Christian Wood looks like Ingram could push him around, but we kill it out there. If Nwaba and Brown could combine for a slot on the all star team, they might make it. That combo kills. I had no idea about Oladipo. That dude can't be shaken. You just have to shoot with him around you. The way things are we know the signature of this team is on the page and clearly says "Defense".

can't help rooting for a team exceeding expectations. woohoo!

 

How do you know that. Most of the time Wood doesn't create his own shot out of nowhere. He relies on his teammate making the right passes. He's not there yet as an iso shot creator, his efficiency will 100 percent go down if we just dump the ball to him in bad positions.

 

YES btw this game wasnt just transition , he took a lot of initiative in half court if i recall well... hes very very good at attacking the rim... he attacks the rim just like I do

 

There was a point in 3rd that Rockets had ELEVEN straight misses.

Perhaps, just perhaps, letting the guy shooting 97% TS (closer to 98% at the time) get a chance?????

So MAYBE he will be less efficient than 97% TS!!!

For me, best win of the year!

Wood is becoming a force of nature. VO was efficient with his 20 pts on 14 shots. Nice contributions from Wall, Gordon and Tate. The only thing that raised an eyebrow for me was Nwaba taking 11 shots for 9 pts. Didn't see the game, so maybe there was a reason for it.

After all that has happened, we are only 1 game back for the division lead. Our play is definitely still in process, but there is so much that is encouraging and positive, its hard not to get a little excited.

trust me i dont bs around dribbling a lot or hesitating...as soon as i see the slightest opening i am making my move

This team is all about defense, and this is an area that the team can be even better.

The offense will improve in increments but this defense can be championship elite caliber with another move.

 

This kid is the real deal.

 

Blowing out teams on the road is a sign of quality. Not easy.

 

Yet another game where Christian Wood shoots half the shots he should have attempted.

Call me crazy but the team looks better with Wall on the bench.

Also. Don't know how many times it's been said before - but Tate needs major minutes at the expense of Tucker.

 

Can you admit that you're raining on our parade?

 

Tucker would be more aesthetically pleasing if Rockets would just get him the ball where he is elite.
