    Everyone is writing it off like this is supposed to be normal. This does not look normal to me. The Rockets do not look better since Dwight returned and with the addition of Josh Smith.

    We just look worse.

    Too many changes in the roster kill chemistry and continuity.
    Morey needs to put chemistry and continuity in his analytics.

    Well this is the result I expect after a quarter where we miss multiple layups, don't rebound and don't protect the paint.

    If Dorsey can't even make layups, what's the point of playing him? Throw Capela out there and let him learn on the fly.

    Yeah, the last couple weeks are ones the front office would probably like to have back. I'm wondering whether they're willing to admit the Smith gamble didn't pay off and eat that prorated 2 mil by cutting him. McHale isn't going anywhere obviously, but the starting lineup is a mess right now and Smith is partly to blame.

    As for this game, 31% shooting in the first quarter for the Rockets including 11%(1 for 9) from downtown. Meanwhile the Pelicans shoot 55%. Smith's issues aside, McHale needs to shake things up. We're getting off to lousy starts every single game no matter who we're playing.

    The only thing that can be correlated to his arrival that's killing us is Dwight Howard's drop in form. What happened to Dwight?

    I think the main reason the starts don't play well in the first is Harden isn't interested in taking over until the 2nd half.

    The rest of the starts are just incapable of scoring.
