LAC and GSW currently losing could be a really good night for the Rockets.

We will see what happens in feb. Asik is still around the team at the Toyota center according to my source if he's moved we will need a solid backup center, smith won't cut it especially with his knee problems.

I think the heat are going to get Bynum & keep oden, have both for the playoffs.

Totally agree with you. If this team only weren't in WIN NOW MODE, I'd absolutely hate it if the Rockets let him go to acquire a 3rd "superstar" like LMA or Love.

It isn't a fake injury. How dumb do you think Asik and his agent are? Morey won't deal him for any less than he feels he is worth and the longer Asik sits the less other teams actually want him.

Did you hear the NO announcers laughing about Asik's "injury"? Seems to be a wide spread perception that he's just pouting.

No worries. According to the team interviews from today, the injury will suddenly be healed by the end of this month, just in time to get some showcase time in before the trade deadline.

Give the young lad time. When they are still young, they feel invincible and rely on this like athleticism and sheer talent to bail them out. As they grow up, they learn patience and techniques. Harden will get smarter as opposing D's scheme more and more to isolate him, either that or he sinks like many the stars before him. Hopefully he swims, not sinks. :D

Lin "coached" Casspi last game and he was "coaching" again at everyone towards the end of the 4th quarter today. What's up with that?

Mavs losing is not so bad. I don't want them to be too close to us. GWS will lose too. Icing on the cake x 2.

Steph Curry choked against the Nuggets, so the clutch come back from the Rockets was huge.

Would rather the Clips lose. We need that #4 seed and with Paul out now is our time to get it.

Paul is going to miss plenty of more games for that. It doesn't do us any good to catch the Clippers if the Warriors manage to pass us up.

We can't get the 4th spot with the Clips being the division leader.

Clips are the Pacific division leader so they're guaranteed a top 4 spot. What we need is either San Antonio, Oklahoma City or Portland to start crapping the bed. Or preferably all 3 of them.

Clips are winning even w/out Chris Paul in the lineup, which means the coaching by Doc Rivers is the main reason for their record.

Which means that if the Rockets want to be a true contender .... we need to dump McHale and find a better coach.

Spurs 9-1 last 10 games won't be crapping any time soon. More chance for the Trailblazers and Thunder to since Westbrook is still injured. They are 6-4 and 5-5 last 10 games. That's mediocre.

One of the NO Hornets announcers said Asik has the "Blue Flu" ... and then the other announcer giggled like a little girl.
