Yep, they were locking down on Lin since he had been burning them all night, I think TJ had an open 3 but he didn't take it (thankfully), Harden bailed them out twice but hey that's what superstars do.

i did turn it off. i've been saying WHAT??? for the last 5 minutes after seeing the result on espn.

i hope canaan keeps getting more playing time wanna see him suceed

 

The score was even 35 seconds into the match (2-2).

Pelicans had the lead 1 minute 25 into the match (4-2).

Lead ballooned up to as much as 14 (46-32).

And the Rockets didnt lead till there was 58 seconds left in the match (100-99).

Cutting it a bit close. Bad for my nerves. Very bad.

 

how did Lin play? and how was rockets defense

I wouldn't take it that far. Jordan was hell bent on being the best and had a tireless work ethic. James ain't on his level yet.

 

A win is a win ....but can not be always playing catch up.

I wish I could've seen this game. I was only following the 4th quarter on ESPN Gamecast and was pissed when I first turned it on and saw the Rockets down by double digits. I didn't pay attention again until with about two minutes to go and the Rox had pulled within 5. Great to see the score get closer and closer and then see it 103-100 Rockets with no time left!

Harden broke his ankles so that's an offensive charge.

 

I'm gonna take this W, and be happy. 3-1 is a solid record on this 4 game road swing.

 

The Jordan play was a hard push on Russel on one motion. How can that be compared what Harden just did. He went out of his way to touch River's JoJo , a step back, and could probably had a puff or something until River's back and then shot the ball. SMH, the Jordan play is not as nearly rich.

 

Lin has a great game with great D and many assists to Tjones.

 

Honestly, that was just bad coaching by the Pelicans..Why would you put Rivers on Harden? Of course Rockets will go for the mismatch.

This is the best assessment and post analyis so far from this board...while most of the fans click the panic button when we are down by 17, haters already started blaming players...lols is it a tradition here in this board? Why cant we just finish first the game and see what our players can domore fun in houston...glad we won!

 

canaan has not shown any ability to score or defend in the NBA level. I think he literally had only 2 total points at preseason. At least it's only a 2nd round pick.
