This. It is crazy blaming the only bright spot during the game. It is surprising that Ime had Amen play point when Reed was playing his best playing that position. He reverted to having Reed be a spot up shooter that made him useless in the offense when he hardly touched the ball. Amen did not have much impact while playing point instead of roaming and being able to make himself available for interior passes. Ime should let Reed play the point and have Amen do his damage inside. This loss was on Ime.

No one believed Houston for half of the season. However, they managed to stay in second seed despite tough games. People started to believe that our team may be legit. Alpi selected to allstar. Then everything fell apart. This team needs a motivator, not harsh criticism.
People that say "JG wasn’t even in the game for majority of both Pacers runs " in games in which Green is -22 should not get their panties twisted about 5 points. The Rockets defensive rating with Green was 135.9 while a great 84.8 without him. Just weird how the rotations get slow with him in the game.
As great as Amen is the guy can’t shoot beyond 12 ft. So now you have an offense with 2 guys who can’t stretch the floor. Then you have both these guys shooting 50% on their FT’s. Just miserable to watch this team play now
Rockets front office dont care the team. We should not care either. Life is always bigger than basketball.
I think equally as importantly, we need the experience. Our young guys need to go through hardship and maybe a crushing playoff loss to really get the ball rolling. And how they respond probably will dictate who we should build around going forward.
You can’t blame this on Jalen. He barely played. They went up 7 pts on us when Sengun kept fouling or missing shots. The double big unit went stale. They didn’t just dump it to Sengun in those sets either. They found him in cuts etc and used their fast break and agressive driving to score.
you also realize that double big lineup allowed 9 straight points having us down by 7. lol maybe you didn’t watch the game

On a more serious note, this really sucks - we punt against OKC only to lose to the damn Pacers. Oh to be 32-14 again!
