Mchale played Dorsey, T. Black, and Dmo because of injuries. JB got this thinking from somewhere. His cronyism is inherited from Mchale.

Mchale was in charge for the worse three game start in NBA history. Lets let sleeping dogs lie, lol. No more Mchale or his coaching staff lets look forward to Thibs.

    Can I get an AMEN!?

Why not give a potential 3pt threat some burn?

Again, it's like we're supposed to be an Elite Sniper Team expected to
neutralize the enemy from long range. And we have a sniper rifle. But we keep it
locked up and choose instead to use a musket and ball (that goes any direction)
for old times' sake. Because that's what we've always used.

Yup and he has **** fans throwing him under the bus, I wouldn't stay either. Good thing his contract isn't up this year. Morey has work to do. ****, I'm a diehard and I've been a fan during some tough loses and seasons and even I sometimes think about jumping ship, lol.

All I know is when KJ gets inserted into the lineup everyone tends to play better on D including Harden. Maybe it's Osmosis hard to tell since BJ doesn't have a long enough track record of allowing KJ to play lengthy minutes this season

If anything when he put Kj in, he changed the dynamic of the game for the rockets, which in many cases in a long chess match between coaches adjusting to each other can be the difference! Wish JB would do this more often but with the younger players and Gouldlock. When the rockets were 1-11 from three early in the game is a a time a wise coach would have put in Goildlock to change the dynamic of the game by hitting maybe a couple of threes or floaters.
The only thing in is out coaching these days is himself out of a job.

Oh and sure lets play harden 44 minutes a night to go against the ****ing Spurs or warriors first round and lose our draft pick. This **** is ****ing stupid. And then the ****ing turtle head b****ass coach refuses to ****ing play the young guys. He calls no plays harden does ****ing everything for this whack ass coach. I never hated anyone this much. Please give us someone man. I can't take this.

McHale was awful, but even he had some all right that was pretty good moments. Jbb is stringing along and destroying our franchise player in the process. I ****ing hate this.

I agree. I've seen the Rox respond positively in at last 3-5 games they've lost when KJ came in and changed the game defensively in spurts. to only be sent back to the bench.. the definition of insanity is what we've got and at this stage the Rox have lost a series of blueprint games of teams beating the Rox the same way over and over again as JB makes it so easy to do so

JB is too locked in to giving certain player default minutes, regardless how they are playing in that particular game. Capela/KJ were playing really well, yet he went back to Dwight/Brewer automatically.

The only time he has really tried a closing lineup with a different big in place of Dwight, was when his hand was forced, with Dwight fouling out. The first game against the Raptors, Howard fouls out, and Capela does a terrific job in his place(he had 2-3 huge game changing blocks in the final minutes). Similar situation the 2nd time facing that team, Dwight again in foul trouble. This tim JB goes with a small lineup with Beasley at the 5, which opened up the floor for Harden to operate. They end up winning both games.

I'm not saying it always makes sense to close games without Dwight, but I do think there are certain match-ups where one of the other bigs would be better suited. For instance, against the warriors "death-ball" lineup I think trying Beasley at the 5 again would be worth a shot, dwight is too slow-footed to cover Dryamond. We just recently watched Horford hit wide open threes down the stretch, with Dwight unwilling to leave the paint to guard him. These are the kind of match-ups that it would make sense to consider other options late in games. DMo was very good last year in those instances, I wouldn't mind seeing Beasley/DMo get a chance to play together in a close game, that would also prevent the hack a Capela/Howard strategy.

Has DMO played at all in crunch time this year? Maybe his conditioning is still quite a ways off at this point.

I was at the game last night...

Dwight looks old, and slow, and like he doesn't give AF.

Also, when Houston had the ball, down 3, with 6 seconds remaining...

Why was Dwight in the game? What could he have possibly done that would net us 3 points? How the **** is our coach, our NBA coach, that clueless? You basically put a player on the floor who was zero threat to change the game.

    Last night was embarrassing.

The thing that concerns me the most is that Dwight seems to have given up unless he is physically hurt.

We can't make it to the playoffs without H and H.

FFS this season is rough. I've never witnessed a weirder (albeit crappy) defensive team with guys who should all be above average defenders (minus james but u can survive with that) just completely get put in positions to fail.
