    nothing to do with injury.

tmacs simply does not have the toughness of Iverson.

I think tmac will live with the 'softy' label all his career.

Yao, on the other hand, has a good chance of shake off that 'softy' thing as he get more expeience and more confidence in the league.

I am glad about the win. But Bobby, please give the f**king ball to the two stars who were demanding the ball!

The Rockets fans would rather lose the game at the hands of Yao & TMac instead of you taking bricks after bricks.

seriously, when was the last time an inside guy got blocked as much as jermaine tonight? deke blocked him at least 3 times and yao blocked him on back to back possessions, including one where he spiked it into the floor. and i didn't even get to see the first half so that's just one half's worth of blocks.

Glad they pulled out the win. But it's really a concern that they don't go to Yao more often when he's hot.

    We pull it out...

    Thank you God!

    91-83

T-Mac did not play well tonight, Yao stepped up tonight which was vital

Deke stepped up and so did Wesley

I think wins like this are important because when one guy isn't clicking the rest of the team needs to step up like this and pull out Ws

I know the Rockets played some really bad offense this quarter, but you have to give their defense credit in picking up a tough road win. Great interior D, espeically from Yao and Deke. I like our team!

Dude, what were they doing in the first quarter? As for the rest of the game, foul trouble and Indiana focused their defense on him in the second half. Yao played 22 minutes. Chill out.

    did yao step up?

for most SOFs (statistics only fans) yao played a pretty lousy game

    what, only 4 rebounds?!

JO took 23 shots to get his 18 points. Yao & Deke had block party whenever JO tried to score inside the paint. And 3 boards in 37 min.

And some fans complain that Vince flying Carter got the nod for starting the all star game over him? LOL!

Vince Carter has been playing like the runaway MVP of the league in the last 3 weeks, including tonight when he drilled 3s after 3s. Dude singlehandedly beat the Spurs after 3 quarters!
