As for T-Mac's assists, I'm wondering how he can get nine while Rafers gets three. Is it a coincidence that Rafer seems to have to a crappy game any time T-Mac is in the lineup? Way back when Adelman was hired he said that he was interested in using T-Mac as a beneficiary of the offense rather than a creator. If that was the case you would expect that T-Mac's scoring/accuracy would go up and his assists would go down. If he receives the ball and has an open look at the basket why would he pass it? If he's going to have problems with his shot, like you suggest, maybe he should work on moving without the ball and getting closer to the basket before he receives it.
I think Rafer's ups and downs are independent of T-Mac being in the lineup. Rafer runs the show quite a bit when Tracy is in there. Also, one might argue that without T-Mac Rafer has to handle the ball even more as the only late shot clock penetrator so his stats go up. Tracy isnt doing anything to Rafer, so if for some reason Rafer has a mental hump to get over with T-Mac playing, its on Rafer to do that.
Aaron is still a liability due to his defensive rotations. That and he is still a bit out of control on offense. He is getting better, so I am not sure when he takes over. I think he does, and possibly before the end of the season.
TMac definately didn't have a great shooting day, but he still passed well and found the open man. He also did alot better on defense than we have seen. Its not like Yao did much better.
Who was it that called me r****ded for wanting Landry in over Hayes?! I'm sure Hayes would have gotten us the win with his defense in crunch time? Landry's defense doesn't look too shabby. Landry over garbage Hayes any day of the week!
How do you define great shooting? A perimeter player shooting over 50% from the field by all accounts is great shooting.
