That's because the other team sucks even more. Do you believe this team can get out of first round without change?

This is the NBA. The other team is probably going to make a lot of shots, even 3's, if you don't show up to contest them.

I didnt say he didnt take jumpshots. I said they werent the bad early shot clock 22 footers the poster described.

They were catch and shoot, well, one of the 2's he faked and then shot it..

I do...they just need time to get comfortable with Tmac.....and while they are doing that, they are winning......so that is OK with me.

Who stole yer username in the chat?? :p

Adelman mentioned something about integrating him back, that he missed so many games so all the guys arent on the same page yet. Just not used to playing together.

McGrady played as many games with James and Francis as he has with Brooks.

Tonight, both Yao and Tmac were role players. The only star was Landry!

It's Ugly and not even close to pretty.

    Iced-hands... Sigh except three rookies.

But a win is a win. That counts. I'll take that.

Tomorrow, Carl's Hometown, we are gonna conquer you.

ugle game, but win is win I take it.

    1. Tmac ally oop, actually it's a foul, he got T. I like it. Keep do it.
    2. tmac did more catch and shot and hit most of them. good sign.
    3. tmac's FT percentage is perfect. Great.
    4. Rafer needs do more as a point guard, don't just bring up the ball and give it to Tmac. Still need to do some play like tmac is not on the court.
    5. Yao is cold today, maybe he save some energy for next game.
    6. Landry, WOW. our saver.
    7. Novak, need more patient.
    8. Scola ok
    9. Wells ok
    10. Head. maybe because Tmac so his performance is so so.
    11. AB, Battier do their normal things good.

It's just one game, and there's no question that getting T-Mac into the flow of the offense is a work in progress.

But damn, didn't T-Mac say he was looking forward to this road trip? The Rockets came out and played like they just woke up and were still half-asleep.

Hayes came in and we defend much better but he tried too much on offense.

i thought it was a great game but i only saw the 4th quarter where we were trading baskets each time down the court. both teams broke 100 so it wasnt a snorefest. as for t-mac, i dont know why everyones so suprised. he just had his usual 6 for 19 shooting night. it's UNUSUAL when he shoots over 50%.

I am a HUGE fan of Purdue's Carl Landry......I'm also a HUGE fan of the New York Football Giants....Go Giants, we pull the biggest upset in NFL history, 30-28.... :) Back too hoopin', This has to be the best 2nd rd pick in the NBA this year, we haven't had an athletic Foward like this since Robert Horry (I refuse to count Stromile Swift) and he brings a Lot of energy to the table. I want Scola to start, Landry to back him up. Now where does this leave Chuck Hayes? What about Mike James? I know we gave up nothing (Juwan Howard) for Mike, but the salary cap implications will be devastating. given that Howard could have been bought out or traded for something other than a shooting Point. By the way, is anyone else here sympathetic to Stephon Marbury's situation in NY? How about a trade for Artest? I know this isn't a trade thread, but these are my thoughts as I sit here in my NY Giant's jersey watchin the Washington basketball Wizards play and Andray Blatche dunk on AK-47...... :eek By the way, dosen't it disgust you that Atlanta and New Jersey are like 6 games below .500 and are in the 7th and 8th playoff spots respectively? Shouldn't we just give the 16 spots to the 16 best records in the NBA? ;)

This was shaping up to be a big let down loss to a weaker eastern conf team, but C. Landry would not let that happen. The kid looks like a baby Amare Stoudemire out there. May be the biggest steal of the draft! :)
