Drafting 2 guys at the 26th pick and lower, who look good enough to be serious starters in the next year or two, is an extremely good result. Maybe there's a GM you can name who has picked solid rotation starters every single time?

Yao never got going in this game, partially is because of his own low-energy. It is sad that all our starters (saving Battier maybe) sucked and our second units had to save their butt.

McGrady was 3 for 6 on 3 point shots, all catch n shoot.

McGrady attacked the rim at least 6 times, got fouled a couple times that was not called.

McGrady took 4 or 5 shots off of screen cuts.

This only leaves 1 or 2 shots of "those long jumpers." And I can't recall any of them early in the shot clock that werent wide open.

Make sure you see the play before you call it. You seem to have made this from a list of random T-Mac rants. You chose poorly.

true.. but you should've seen the Yao hate last season when TMac was out and the team was losing. it's mostly only the rookies that use the TOF and YOF label these days. the board vets know better.

Somehow this starting lineup is not working well. Luis is not good with Tmac. We have to make decision. Start Tmac or Luis? I guess most of us will choose Tmac.
But a win is a win. Let's hope we do better tomorrow night.

Tmac had more problems than Yao did in recent games... Maybe he is still recovering from his injury...

It was said at the beginning of the game that the Pacers dont really have a go-to guy so they run almost a college type motion offense. It works if their guys knock down open 3's like they did tonight. Trouble is, nobody shoots 50% from 3 point range consistently. Even if they are wide open.

Man, I was hoping for a real effort out of the starters a big lead and then rest for tomorrow nights game.

But, they played lazy, no defense and barely won.

oh well, better than Lazy - no defense and losing I guess.

On the other hand, the rox starters are always play pathetic, thus good rookies can challenge their position.

good win.....but i'd say T-mac somehow break the Rox's offense rhythm and just making little contribution in D side, maybe he hasnt completely recovered from his injury, just hoping him can play better tomorrow

Ugly win. We always have difficulty defending jump-shooting teams.

Nice rookies! Morey saved the team this year! Can anyone imagine how many wins we will have without them rookies?

It's not just Scola. Alston had another terrible game with McGrady in the lineup. And the starting five looked horrible all game, like they were sleepwalking through the game.

It's just one game, but the Rockets have got to get McGrady integrated into the team and playing again. They're not going to beat anybody with a record better than .500 playing like they did tonight.

So true, last year we lose this game.

Of course in fairness, I doubt JVG would let the team get away with playing so lackidasical on defense.

we won't... but we'll win. we're like the proto-typical C student. we do just enough to get by.
