thanks , name some names so that we can really compare if these 2 are not good enough... actually they were good during the streak then silas steps in...

ps you still did not explain gsw phenomenon.. same roster from not making PO to legit contenders....they didnt traded out all their guys because couldnt make po with them

if we could somehow get lou dort at small forward(just an example), shooting 33.3 percent from 3, but can guard 1-5....we're looking for players like him, elite defenders that you can throw at the james harden types. We don't necessarily need the playmaking of tate with sengun and green. So even a player that is a better 3 point shooter than dort, but not quite as good of a defender.

golden state is golden state. still have a backbone of superstars with an owner who's willing to pay the tax, who happened to get young talent when klay got injured, and also made a great trade of deangelo russell getting better fitting talent and picks. We are houston and won't pay the tax any time soon. We have to think about the cap in four years when green and sengun will get max contracts and have to think about how we are going to fill in the rest. We are hoping green will be like curry at this point. i don't see how you can compare us to them at this point.

I don’t think he will ever be a good defensive player. You have to really want to be good on the defensive side of the ball and it seems he doesn’t really have the motivation to get to that next level. I agree offensively he could be an all-star.

I would rather have an athletic and strong PF like Banchero. We need to add some length and girth to become a good defense. No more short PF’s for me. I think Tate and KJM and someday Garuba will make fine SF’s. When we go small, JGup can play that role as well.

we can play jaygup at the three, but he's not big enough yet to be quite frank. he will be one day. i think we have to choose between kjm and tate cuz we can't pay them both and it makes sense to move tate. we need an upgrade at the four and three, assuming eric gordon plays the point. garuba we hold onto cuz he's so young and can add muscle and perhaps one day can play like tucker. tate can't cut it at the four cuz he can't box out centers...he's a three. he's only starting for us cuz we are that bad.

They are likely not extending him or looking for a smaller contract.

I hope they could change directions if their designated cornerstones do not pan out.

Meaning trade for an Allstar or Superstar.

Sadik Emir Kabaca is a former teammate of Alpi, 1 year older, 1 inch taller. There are too many resemblance between two. He is not as good as Alpi but can be drafted as late second in 2022 draft. That is what he made in a recent match. He may develop little bit more in Vipers and can help a lot in 4&5 switches.

LOL you silfully neglected the main point and chose to dwell on circumstantial.... to me it says you have no arguments to support your opinion

now to the main point again:

gsw same roster not making PO last year is now main contenders...

dont tell me gsw is gsw or they have steph or other circumstatial bs cause they had steph last year when not making the po and he played wonderfully as well and gsw were gsw last year as well when they missed po...

so its not steph but perhaps the fact that they choose continuity over knee jerk trading away guys with potential like tate or KPJ... they just tried to make another run with exact same roster and it worked pretty well up to now

ok now dont skip, deflect or gloss over this , if you need few days to digest it its ok but just acknowledge that you have been beaten in debate for now

(it's pretty time-consuming, 2-3min, so instead of converting video to gif, i would rather to use readied ones)

Honestly just stopped reading after the first sentence. It does us no good to tank after this year since okc has our pick the year after lol.
There is no point in being a 10-15 pick this year only to lose a potential lower pick the following year. There situation is unique this year bc of what they owe okc in the future
