ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Pacers 11/12/2010

We have more than enough too beat the Pacers. We need to feed Scola and keep feeding him. Scola can close games in this league. And any other league for that matter. . I don't know what he's averaging in the 4th. But he seems to take it to another level in the 4th.
He's the type of player that can put teams on his back for stretches. He did in the FIBA tourney this last summer.

His offensive game wont mean squat if he cant play defense. I love Scola as much as anyone, but he is a big hot mess on the defensive end this year.

The Pacers always play us hard and we match up really bad against them. They'll be draining open jumpers from everywhere on the court. I want us to win, but this will be as tough as the Washington game.

 

If this thread were a band, it would be Negativland.

 

This team has lost its identity... it needs to get some attitude and fast. Maybe a little music could lighten their mood pregame... we need something better than what they normally play.

Remember what this team was and can be. High energy, dominate... powerful... the Rockets...

They need to embrace their role as the underdog and give them hell. Make them regret ever playing Houston. Make them dread Houston. Make it a goal. Don't go out expecting a win and don't go out thinking you have to try. Go out with confidence! It's time to get back on track and forget about what people are saying, forget about all that stuff outside of the court... and forget about everything that isn't your team. Just play the game and play hard. If they can do that, they can start winning again.


where the hell is the laser focus of the 22 win streak? We don't need a Yao to go on a win streak, just an unshakable attitude. The Rockets need to man up and get it done.

Kidding of course, but I think real fans do get affected negatively by their teams struggling. Why do you think its so easy for so many sports watchers to root for the Yankees or the Lakers?? Its not easy being a sports fan and loyal to our Houston teams.
